Western stoneware Monmouth pitcher. Most people just refer to this as Monmouth pottery, even though it is Western Stoneware from Monmouth, Illinois. Neat pitcher with reddish freckle pattern. It has the Western Stoneware, Monmouth, Il. backstamp with incised USA mark. Monmouth/Western was in business from 1906-1985. This pitcher has no chips or cracks and is 6.75 tall. You can purchase it individually or with the older but similar beanpot under a different item number in this category. 8/14
