Manufacturer: Papago
Native American baskets. All three for one price; all came from various estates that had Native American basket collections. And, they all have similar fibers that appear to be from the Yucca plant. The first one is a large coiled basket. I believe they are all Hopi, Papago or Pima baskets. The first is a large bowl shaped basket. It is 15.5 wide and in good condition. Just one small spot where the fiber is worn near top rim. the next is a lidded basket. Both the Papago and Pima tribes made this type of basket but I believe it to be Papago. It does have some age to it since the darker exterior colors are somewhat faded in comparison to the interior. It is very well made, heavy, sturdy basket. The lid fits quite snugly. It is 4 tall x 5 wide. The last bowl basket is 10 inchest wide and quite well made also; rim of bowl is woven differently than than the larger bowl. Nice baskets for your collection. They'd likely cost you $300 each down in AZ. 5/14
