1. Holiday Shopping Starts In September - Are you ready?
Here is a checklist to prepare your shop for Holiday shoppers...
a) Make sure all of your photos are sharp and have the correct colors. Avoid busy backgrounds in your photos
b) Are your prices up to date. Market prices go up and down.
c) Descriptions need to be complete and include as many keywords as possible. DO NOT use the same description for more than one item in your store. You will get penalized by Google and other search engines
d) Add fresh inventory and tell customers about it by posting a press release to the TIAS home page.

2. An update on our Google Shopping efforts
Over the past week, Carrie and Sue have been busy improving our listing in Google shopping. We'll be feeding more items to Google shopping over the next week. Go to http://shopping.google.com and check to see if your items are listed. If not, please let us know which items are not showing up in your search results and we will look into it for you.

We received a great response to our request for suggestions to improve the site and volunteers to help us test out our new software. Many thanks for all of the emails and phone calls. We'll be contacting you as we move forward with the new site improvements.
