1. Yes, it's the slow season. What to do about it.
It's tempting when sales slow down, to shut down your store and reopen later in the season. The problem is that it may take 2-3 months to build up you search engine placement "link juice" when you open a new store. So by shutting your site down and restarting it later in the year, you also have to take into account that 2-3 months of building your search engine "link juice" back up again.
Use the slow season to prep for the selling season by....
1. Check your prices to make sure they are inline with the current market value for you merchandise. You can do this by checking prices on Google and Bing for similar items.
2. Check your photos. Are they clear with a clean single color background? Does the tiem being photographed fill most of the frame? Do you include more than one photo of each item?
3. Check your descriptions. Include as many keywords that pertain to the item as possible. Keep your descriptions clear and include as much information about the item as possible.

2. Credit card processing update. - IMPORTANT -
When you process orders on TIAS, if you currently use our system to store customer credit card numbers (ccLog) and then process them off of the TIAS system, you need to contact Sue about setting up an alternative system for accepting credit card payments from your customers. We are going to be discontinuing the old ccLog system in about 30 days.
