Page 5 shows all candidates of the 1904 election which was held on November 8, 1904. Theodore Roosevelt and Charles Warren Fairbanks won the Republican party with 336 electorial Vots and 7,623,486 popular votes to Alton Brooks Parker (NY)and Henry Gassaway Davis (WV)of the Democratic Party that finished with 140 votes and 5,077,911 popular votes. This is a complete Original newspaper from Williamsport, PA dated June 11, 1905 titled the Pennsylvania GRIT. The papers consists of what seems to be 3 sections totaling 12 pages. Please view all pictures below. Front page has a story and a great comic type picture about Theodore Roosevelt dressed as Nurse Roosevelt on June 9, 1905. In the comic the doctor by the door is Dr. JAPAN and the beat up looking patient in bed would appear to be RUSSIA. Paper is in Excellent condition with only 1 tear on top of inside page. Some small wear at center fold. Excellent and very interesting reading from local to world news. Keep in mind the paper is 94 years old and VERY RARE.
