Virginia Slims cigarettes. 1977 - 8 x11 inches of a colored ad. While visiting her uncle in 1907, Miss Phillips assumed that her uncle would not be put out if she smoked. Her uncle was not put out-she was.

This public sale bill was for the sale of the James Willis estate held on Jan. 6, 1944 near Shippensburg, Pennsylvania on the Governor Ritner Highway. It is in good condition with no tears, holes or folds. There are a couple creases at the lower right corner, a couple dents at the lower edge and a spot that is lighter in color in the lower right corner. The auctioneer for the sale was Weager with Bailing and Ocker as clerks. This Willis Estate, Shippensburg, PA sale bill is 6 1/4 long and 3 wide. Shipping costs are not included in the item price and are weight based to the destination zip code. I do combine multiple items into a single shipment to save on shipping costs. Wonderful vintage stationery with a great bouquet of flowers on the upper left corner and matching envelopes.  These were made for the Thrifty Drug Stores by the Mead company.  Thrifty has been out of business for at least 15 or 20 years.  Has never been used, still has the ribbon around the stationery. 

This receipt is for services rendered on July 17,1958 by Camp Curtain Transfer located at 2440 Jefferson Street in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and is in very good condition with no tears. There are staple holes just above and to the left of the C in Camp, a few minor light creases at the edges and it was folded in half. Camp Curtain Transfer were agents for Grey Van Lines Long Distance Moving and the receipt is signed by co-owner Frank Kreider Jr. The yellowing of this receipt was caused by my scanner, it is really slightly off white in color and is 8 1/2 by 7 1/4 .

1900's Magazine Cover Artwork -Great Oval shaped picture of a large branch holding an abundant group of large red apples, pretty colorful birds visiting. Fabulous illustration in this artwork that was displayed on a Magazine Cover Art. Would enhance any decor with the proper framing. It is SIGNED by the artist: GEORGE FRIEDERICK. Measures a nice large oval - 9-1/4 inches wide by 11 inches high. Was album pasted on a thick cardboard backing, so artwork is secure. Being that this was a magazine cover it does shows apparent wear. Soiling, creases, fold at left edge, and unfortunately the tear from edge at right. Pair of early unissued Stock Certificates of Hotel Wells located in Sistersville, West Virginia. To my understanding Hotel Wells is somewhat of a well known part of the Sistersville, West Virginia area. Certificates are in very nice condition and include the tabs that would show record of the Stockholder, Date Purchased, etc.. I'm guessing these date probably somewhere around the 1930's. They were issued as $100 shares. If you collect unissued Stock Certificates, Hotel memorabilia or memorablia from the Sistersville, West Virginia or surrounding area what a terrific opportunity to own a pair which could be framed and hung in one's home or office. Indignant with the British closing of the port of Boston, the virginia House of Burgesses met in Raleigh Tavern at Williamsburg to discuss the advisability of an Annual Meeting of delegates from all the colonies to deliberate measures of united interest. Washington here leads the discussion which resulted in the meeting of the First Continental Congress on September 5, 1774. Unsigned but obviously is the works of: W.F. SOARE.
