This unit is the Model 600Z FILMOSONIC Super 8mm movie projector. It plays the Super 8mm movies. Originally this projector had a sound feature, but it is not working so this projector is being sold without the sound function. However, it still plays Super 8 movies wonderfully. This projector has been checked over and is working perfectly for Super 8 movie projection. Look at the photos carefully and you can see all the features of this deluxe machine. It has two speeds of 18 frames per second and 24 fps. It is a completely auto threading machine that is very simple to use. It also comes with its own take-up reel. MADE IN THE USA! This is a special 35mm slide tray that was popular with many projector manufacturers of the 1950's. It is an all-aluminum tray with slots for each slide. The tray will fit all AirEquip projectors. The tray measures 2.25 inches square and 5.5 inches long with gear teeth on one side to engage the feeder gear on the projector. If your regular flat trays will not fit your projector, then more than likely these Airequipt trays are what you need. Each tray holds 36 slides measuring 2 inches square. Price quoted is for each tray.

This is the number DES projector bulb. It is 750 watt, 120 volt. If your bulb looks like this one and has the letters DES on it, this is the replacement bulb you need.

This item is a Bell & Howell projector zoom lens. It has a range of 15mm to 25mm. It will fit many of the movie projectors of the 50's and 60's. Check the photos closely and if this lens looks like the one from your machine, then this is the correct replacement zoom lens if you need one. The barrel (small end) of the lens measures exactly 1 inch across. The single groove on the barrel measures approximately 7/8 inch from the end of the lens.

These light meters were popular in the 1950's when guys took light exposure readings for a guide to change exposure settings on the camera of the day. I am not sure if this unit is operational or not. The indicator meter does operate now and then but I am not sure how accurate or how to operate this device. Here is a hard-to-find empty 16mm metal film reel that fits on 16mm movie projectors. It measures 15 inches across and has the square center opening on one side of the reel to fit the projector reel shaft. It will hold 2000 feet of 16mm film. The reel color may vary to the photo depending on the reel manufacturer.
