Here's a nicely detailed outline of a donkey's head, set upon two horse-shoe shapes to make a lapel or hat pin. We've been told these were produced for the Democratic party by the Gulf Oil Co. in the 1960s. In fact, the logo for Gulf is imprinted on the small cardboard which holds the pin. The pin is about .75-inch diameter and in Very Good condition with no apparent defects.

This political pinback button reads HHH Humphrey and was from his 1968 presidential campaign. It measures about 1-1/8 inches diameter. The union label appears on the edge of the button. It's in excellent condition with no scratches or other apparent defects!

This Ike, Dick They're For You pinback was distributed for the 1952 Presidential campaign of Dwight Eisenhower and Richard Nixon. It is in very good condition with no dents and it still has good color and gloss. There is some scuffing around the edges, some spots where the surface is raised from moisture (visible at the top of Eisenhower's head in the photos) and some rust on the pin. This Eisenhower, Nixon campaign pinback was made by Allied Printing and is 1 3/8 in diameter.

Huge vintage 6 diameter easel back John F. Kennedy pinback. Says Inauguration day January 20th 1961 and Man of the 60's . Marked Fabian Bachrach . Excellent unused stock from the 1960 election. As some of you know, the 6 easel back pinback is very rare and the most valuable of all presidential pins. These are in excellent unused condition. Found in the basement of an old store on the east coast.

This Over the Top with Shannon campaign pinback is in very good condition with no dents or rust and the paint is not faded and still has good gloss. There are a few minor scratches in the paint. This 1940's or 1950's vintage Shannon campaign pinback was made by C. O. D. Wilson of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and is 7/8 in diameter.

Vintage 1974 John Glenn 1 3/4 pinback. Marked Citizens for John Glenn . Most people remember him as an astronaut, but he was a famous Ohio senator for many years too. Great condition. I got this one and several other types from a fellow in Columbus, Ohio. He got them from his father who delivered pinbacks to various campaign headquarters in Ohio during election years.
