Reproduction 1968 Humphrey Presidential Election Campaign Pin
Reproduction 1968 Hubert H. Humphrey Presidential campaign button (political pin, political pinback) from his run for the presidency against Richard M. Nixon. This was issued as part of a set of 38 reproduction political campaign buttons. We believe the set was issued by American Oil Company as a collector's give-away or premium item in 1972 from some of the markings on the rim of the buttons. We have many others from the set but not a complete set and are listing each separately for those who may have an incomplete set which they are looking to complete. This collectible campaign pin is still slid through its original descriptive card. All the campaign buttons are round (or circular) with this one measuring about 1 1/8 inch in diameter, in red, white and blue showing central images in black and white of Humphrey and his vice presidential running mate, Edmund Muskie, with their names above these, and graphic décor of stars and wavy red we got it attached to the card exactly facing as you see here. In some cases these buttons appear upside down or otherwise not rightside up in the images because we have left them as found and did not want to make new holes in the card backing in order for them to appear upright. With the close-up photography you should be able to get a good idea of the condition. All the buttons are overall in very nice shape, with some evidence of storage wear via some scratches and rubbed marks, etc. (varying with each button), but nothing bad. The backing card is also in very nice overall shape, but also with evidence of storage wear via folding in the middle, corner bending, no longer laying totally flat, some edge wear/tiny tearing/bending, etc. (again, varying with each button). These make a nice gift or stocking stuffer for anyone interested in political history in general or collecting items related to a particular President or Presidential election campaign. Should you wish to purchase more than one button, please e-mail us prior to placing the order. The shipping costs have been inputted for mailing one button by itself and the system won't automatically calculate for you the savings you would receive by shipping more than one button together in one envelope. We will have to calculate that for you.

We have shot the images including a quarter to the left of the button and card for size comparison. In this case we have the full red, white, blue and pink card, measuring about 4 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches (the prior owner apparently did not rip off the top part on this one in order to enter the sweepstakes contest). We have many others from the set but not a complete set and are listing each separately for those who may have an incomplete set which they are looking to complete. This collectible campaign pin is still slid through its original descriptive card. All the campaign buttons are round (or circular) with this one measuring about 1 1/4 inches in diameter, in white with a central image of Bryan in black and white, with a red, white and blue bow and ribbon above this. We have shot the images including a quarter to the left of the button and card for size comparison. The pink card half card with blue printing measures about 3 3/4 x 2 3/8 inches. It provides a general description of the set with a specific paragraph on this button on the topside, and information regarding ordering others in the set on the reverse side. We are calling this a half card because we do have a few of the buttons on their original full cards which are double the size. The top half of the card which is missing here was a mail in Sweepstakes Entry, so we presume the original owner ripped off the top portion on most of these in order to do multiple entries into the contest. The button has likely never been removed from the card; we got it attached to the card exactly facing as you see here. In this case, there are a few small scratches on Bryan's face on the front side of the pinback. The backing card is also in very nice overall shape, but also with evidence of storage wear via corner bending, no longer laying totally flat, some edge wear/tiny tearing/bending, etc.

Reproduction 1932 Roosevelt Presidential Election Campaign Pin
Reproduction 1932 Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential campaign button (political pin, political pinback) from his initial run for the presidency against Herbert Hoover. All the campaign buttons are round (or circular) with this one measuring about 1 1/8 inches in diameter, in white and black with lettering which states, We Need You, Franklin D. Roosevelt with an image of Roosevelt. The backing card is also in very nice overall shape, but also with evidence of storage wear via corner bending, no longer laying totally flat, some edge wear/tiny tearing/bending, etc. Reproduction 1956 Eisenhower Presidential Election Campaign Pin
Reproduction 1956 Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential campaign button (political pin, political pinback) from his re-election run for the presidency against Adlai E. Stevenson. All the campaign buttons are round (or circular) with this one measuring about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, in white and orange with black lettering which states, Don't let this happen to YOU! Vote for IKE! . The backing card is also in very nice overall shape, but also with evidence of storage wear via corner bending, no longer laying totally flat, some edge wear/tiny tearing/bending, etc.
