Southern Potteries, Inc. Blue Ridge Pottery ceramic dinner plate in their Mayflower pattern in the yellow color. Round plate measuring 9 1/2 inches in diameter and sitting 3/4 inch in height. Fully marked on underside base with the black printed circular mark including a graphic of mountains and a pine tree stating Hand Painted-Underglaze, Blue Ridge, Made in U.S.A., Southern Potteries, Inc. with what we believe is a piece designator underneath, 11B . We've provided 5 images including close-ups of the painted flowers and the manufacturer marking. Please note that the white hot spots are reflections from the camera lighting on the high gloss surface. While the plate looks fine on display and just seated on a table, on close inspection in bright light you will see that topside there are many, many small and medium sized surface scratches and rubbed marks as this vintage item was clearly used. This old piece, however, has no chips, cracks or crazing. There are some other pin/pit dots, tiny black and wear dots/spots, etc., general use, and some scratches on the underside. Still usuable as an extra dinner plate with your existing set, or adding nice color in a country setting hanging on display on a wall or in a cabinet.

This is for sets of cups and saucers (each item of one is one cup and one saucer) from Blue Ridge Southern Potteries. They are the Piecrust shape. The pattern is named Green Briar. The items are damage free and very nice. Circa: Unknown Origin: USA Condition: Used no damage

These beautiful Blue Ridge Salt and Pepper Shakers are 5 1/4 high. They are the Blossom Top pattern. They were produced by Southern Potteries Incorporated located in Erwin, Tennessee which began production in the 1920's and closed in 1957. These are not reproductions but are original! Cute Blue Ridge bread and butter plate in the Betty pattern. Bright red flower, yellow center with green leaves and stem. The plate has a pie crust border and is trimmed in green that matches the leaves and stem. Measures 6 inches round. Very light use marks, and the plate still has a shiny surface. No chips or cracks.

This is a nice Leaf Celery made by Blue Ridge Southern Potteries, in the Summertime Pattern. This is in excellent condition!

This is one of my favorite Blue Ridge Southern Potteries pieces. It is the china chick pitcher known as 'Flora', which is a very nice piece and in excellent shape.

This is a cup only in what I believe is the Carol's Roses pattern made by Blue Ridge Southern Potteries. This piece is in very nice condition. Please be sure to look at my other items, as I do have a demitase cup and saucer in this same pattern.

This is a very nice teapot made by Blue Ridge Southern Potteries. The pattern name is 'Lorraine', china, Fine Panel shape. The piece is in very nice shape, however, there is no lid.

This beautiful vase is new and in mint condition. The colors are Royal Blue, light blue and there is a hint on lavender or pink. It is new and was purchased at the Blue Ridge Pottery near Harrisonburg, Virginia. It is 11 inches tall and is 5.5 inches across the top of the vase. This is a handcrafted vase marked 2005, Alon Ward, Number 063, gallery heirloom.

Featured for your enjoyment is a wonderful old platter from Blue Ridge Pottery. This is in their colonial shape and uses their Country Road pattern. The rim is slightly up turned to hold the food on very nicely. No dropped turkey here! Highlighted rim with a spray affect brown. Does have crazing. Measures 14 long by 11 wide.

For sale are three vintage Blue Ridge pottery plates. (3 for one price = only $11/each!). The backstamp is mark 17 on pg. 434 of Lehner's Book of Marks, 1988 edit. It reads: Blue Ridge Hand Painted Underglaze, Southern Potteries, Inc. Made in USA #90. These are 10 x 10 inches, no chips or cracks. One has a tiny line in the clay, (it is a minor factory flaw, and is under the glaze). Slightly different than the other Blue Ridge plate I have for sale; these have a different backstamp and the edge is raised.
