Brastoff Sascha

Sascha Brastoff Vintage Signed California Art Pottery. This fabulous Abstract ashtray measures 10 1/2 inches x 7 3/4 inches. Background is white with gray air-brushed look. Houses are brown, brick red, & gold with black & trimmed with gold gilt. Back of ashtray is marked in gold with Rooster, Sascha Brastoff signature, California U.S.A. Super condition, with only a little light crazing on underside & a very few extremely light scratches on 2 houses. Beautiful addition to an American Art Pottery or Ashtray Collection!

Nut Dish, Sascha Brastoff, Aztec or Mayan. Sascha was very much influenced by the Aztec and Mayan cultures after visiting their homelands. He created these designs before leaving his factory in 1962. They are all marked below his name with a circled R . This nut dish is 7 and is in excellent condition. It has his signature plus the R . It is also marked on the back with his logo.

Ashtray, Sascha Brastoff, Citrus, Style No.08. This ashtray measures 13 1/2 long and 5 wide. This beautiful pattern is of yellow citrus fruit surrounded by blue, gold and black veined leaves. The ashtray has two pinprick paint flecks. Other than that it is in good condition. Signed Sascha B on the front and the post 1953 commercial mark on the back with the Style No. 08.

Vase, Sascha Brastoff, Alaska. This vase is 8 tall, done in blue and white, with the head of an Eskimo girl on the side. It is signed Sascha B with the number 082 on the base. Other than some crazing, it is in good condition.

Platter, Sascha Brastoff, Alaska platter painted by Matt Adams. This exquisite piece measures 13 3/4 by 8 1/4 . The gray/taupe seal is pictured against a white (ice) background and a beautiful blue sky. Circa 1962-1973, the platter is in mint condition. It is signed Sascha B .

Cigarette set, three pieces, Rooftops, 1958, Sascha Brastoff. This set consists of an ashtray measuring 13 1/2 by 5 , a lighter measuring 3 3/4 in height, and a cigarette container measuring 2 5/8 . It is in the Rooftops pattern. The lighter doesn't work but otherwise the set is in very nice condition.
