Coffee Mug, Burton, Toby the Toad. This adorable toad coffee mug would beautifully adorn any table. The mug is 4 1/4 tall up to his eyes and approximately 5 1/2 from handle to outer lip. It is 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 across the center. The toad is peering straight ahead--his eyes are black and white. The front is yellow and the rest of the cup is a pretty light green color with yellow embossed circles all around the outside. It is in excellent new condition with the Burton Toby the Toad mark.

Dresser Caddy/Planter, Freeman McFarlin, vintage. This cute caddy measures 7 long and is 4 3/4 high. In addition to the dog's cavity, there is another opening under his chin for small jewelry. Or, the piece can be used as a planter. This piece is is in very good vintage condition with the Freeman-McFarlin Originals El Monte label--slightly torn.
Vintage Burley Winter Pottery beanpot cookie jar. c:1872-1930's. This is a good sized beanpot and/or cookie jar, and is shown on pg. 28 of D. Swingle's book. It is 6.75 tall, very fat, and has an incised mark on bottom but the mark is hard to read. No chips or cracks; but it is missing the original lid. I put an antique stipled saltglaze lid atop it and it is a fairly close match except lid has none of the aqua color on it. There is one tiny lead line near top rim of pot, (looks like a hairline, but it's not), and it has some dirt residue on interior, (someone used it as a planter). It looks fine without lid as a vase, or with the added lid. Since the lid fits down into the pot, it does not really show much anyway. Book value in 1999 was $200-250. You may never see one of these again! Guaranteed authentic vintage BW Pottery.
