This item is a BESWICK BARN OWL - number 1046. He measures 7 1/2 inches high. The owl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs or other problems. The barn owl was originally issued in 1946. It has an incised back stamp - BESWICK, ENGLAND, 1046. It has a beautiful face with lovely eyes.

This very old pair of Staffordshire Dogs are marked England on the bottom. They measure about 6 inches by 5 inches by 2 inches. The are old and in great condition. The finish shows some crazing. No chips or crack that I can determine.

Wood and Sons English Toby Betsy pitcher. Very charming Toby pitcher with incised name on bottom: Betsy, (I could not get a decent picture of the mark, sorry, I did try!). Also backstamped in black: Toby by Wood & Sons, England, with a lion symbol. It looks like an old mark. There is also another incised mark, and a black number or legger, either #18 or 1B. No chips or cracks and is almost 5.5 inches tall. This would make a great gift!

This fantastic plaque or plate is heavily gold trimmed and measures 12 in. diameter. Artist signed Bolling? or Baumy? the signature is hard for me to read. Back stamped Limoges- France. Blakeman & Henderson. I find no damage or wear. Beautiful bird perched on a tree limb with colorful background and leaves. Edge is heavily trimmed with gold. This item has been in my own collection at home for at least 15 years. I believe this is from the pre- World War 2 era.
Hand-painted Victorian letter holder and matching inkwell that is both dated ('95) and has the artist's initials on the underside of each piece. The letter holder accommodates several pens (see photos) and each of its cartouches is decorated with lovely bouquets of purple, blue and yellow flowers. Each cartouche is also gilded and matches those around the inkwell and on its unattached lid. Nicely painted and in excellent condition (including the original insert for ink). Letter holder: 3½ (H) x 5¾ (W) x 4¼ (D). Covered inkwell: 2¾ (H) x 3¼ (W) x 3 (D).

German or French colored bisque 3 dimensional figurines in their original oval black frames with brass beading. 15inch X 17inch framed 11inch X 13inch sight. One depicts couple in boat in Summer and other is couple in sleigh in Winter. Maybe there are a Spring and Fall out there somewhere, but in 35 years of dealing I have never seen anything remotely like these. The figures appear to be perfect but were not removed to examine. The original bubble shape glass is perfect. One of the frames was cracked at one time but carefully glued back and sturdy.

Wonderful antique German Salt Glaze double handle Jar with 4 cups. The pottery is the grey with vibrant blue figures, and German writing all arounf the top and bottom of the jar (don't know what this says) The set is in great shape, and no chips or cracks. The large jar is 7 1/2 inches tall ans 8 1/2 inches wide. There is a triangle with a mark inside on the bottom of the large jar with 935 also.
This nautical themed Villeroy and Boch divided plate is cobalt blue and white with a galleon and sea gulls designs decorating the three sections. The bottom of the plate is marked with the Villeroy and Bochs mark used since 1874. The estimated date of this plate is mid 20th century. There is some crazing, but overall the plate is in good condition without chips. It is 10 7/8 in. in diameter.

This very detailed tray was made by Tressemann and Vogt Limoges. The white background is decorated with very delicate white flower blossoms and green foliage. It has a unique scalloped border with brushed gold accents. Approximate age is circa 1892-1907. It is 9 X 7 3/4 in.

Hand painted Bavarian celery tray. Orange backstamp: C Bavaria S; and looks like an A above the box/crown. No chips or cracks; has some pin head size pops in the glaze along bottom side edge. It is 10.25 long x 5 wide x 1.5 tall.
A small porcelain vase from Royal Bayreuth. Orange lower half, with scene of cattle and trees at top. Vase measures 7.5cm high (3 inches) and the same measurement wide. Body is in excellent condition, but it is dirty inside (this will clean out, but right now I don't have a bottle brush!), and the neck has worn paint (may have once had a silver capping). No chips or cracks, or wear to any other decoration.
This Ewer could have been sitting in my living room when I was preschool age. It was made in Italy. It does bring back great carefree memories of the 1950's. I've had this piece of pottery on my desk for about 2 months and just did discover a tiny fleabite on the bottom edge of the lip. Retro Decorating is in fashion just now but this would fit in with any contemporary decor as well.

This blue chintz dessert set has four cups and four saucers. The pattern is a blue rose chintz with a gold rim on the edges. It dates around 1940, but the manufacturer has not been identified. The saucers are 4 3/8 in. in diameter. The cups are 1 7/8 in. in diameter and are 2 1/8 in. in height. This is a very pretty dainty pattern.
This set of four delft style handpainted plates are from the Arabia Porcelain Factory in Finland. The Arabia Factory is one of the best in Europe and is known for high quality wares. They are 6 3/4 in. in diameter. Marked on the bottom is: Arabia, Made in Finland. They date post 1940. The approximate value is just over $100 based on auction estimates. There is normal crazing and some discoloring and staining expecially to one of the plates. They still make a wonderful part of a blue and white decor.

Handpainted with great detail, this mustard jar or condiment jar has a lid. The body of the jar is attached to the saucer. There is a place in the lid for a small spoon. The dish saucer is 4 1/2 in. in diameter. The bowl is 3 in. in diameter and the entire piece is 3 3/8 in. in height. It is marked on the bottom(see picture). The colors are very vibrant. This dish is marked, Rheinpfalz 17, with a crown above. It measures 9 1/4 X 6 1/4 in. There are cut outs on either end in which a handle could be added or ribbon as is shown here. The design is handpainted on the face of the dish. There are no chips or cracks. This basket, from Italy, is woven porcelain with floral accents. It measures 6 X 4 1/2 X 4 1/2 in. in height. It is marked made in Italy on the bottom. There is one small chip on one of the lower petals which is not very noticeable.
Porcelain rim soup bowl, scalloped and lightly embossed shape decorated with hand-tinted pink and yellow roses and metallic gold trim (pattern 3214). Bowl has very minor trim wear, otherwise in very good condition.
Bavarian and Staffordshire Plates. (2 plates, one price). The first one is 7.5 x 7.5, no chips or cracks, but colors are faded, and backside has some crazing. It is marked: Orleans Z.S. mark is shown in Kovels, pg. 195, mark [N]. Other plate is 9 x 9 inches, (has the green border); has one tiny chip off top rim, is marked in green: Defender Waterloo Potteries Trade Mark Royal Premium Semi-Porcelain T.& R. Boote England, incised #5. This mark is shown in Kovels, pg. 116, mark [N], and the mark dates from 1890-1906. Just nice old plates to hang, or use. I like to use old plates like these as cheese/butter dishes. Just buy one of those 60's glass cheese domes and cover the dish with it!
This attractive floral creamer or pitcher measures 6 in. long and is 3 in. tall. In very good condition with just a slight stress mark at the top rim. Lovely pinkish floral on a light green base.Bottom marked Germany. I believe this is from the pre-World War 2 era.Perhaps Majolica, I'm not real familiar with this type of pottery.
Genuine Hand Painted Sylvan Staffordshire England Toby Mug. The pottery is lovely colors on the Toby, though on the bottom front there is what looks like a chip, but it is part of the glaze. He is 5 3/4 inches tall, and about 4 inches wide.
English Devon Ware Pottery Motto Mug. It is stamped Devon Ware Pottery England on the bottom, and the motto is 'Time and Tide Wait For No Man' It is 5 inches tall, and there is a small chip in the bottom of the pottery beneath the handle underneath the motto on the very bottom. This can easily be repaired, and it is (priced accordingly)
Quite exquisite, this vase is 10 5/8 in. in height and 5 in. in diameter at the widest section. It is marked, Austria, 7105, 1357/2851. This is the best guess at the last numbers as they are very difficult to read. It is decorated with Egyptian tomb style art. It has gold handles, rim collar and arched feet with wonderful Egyptian hieroglyphic pictures and three phrases which translate to: King on his Throne, King with Lions, and Fighting. The piece is attributed to the 1950-60 time period and estimate of book value is approximately $275.00+. It is a glorious piece.
A lovely tile depicting the Madonna and Holy child. Measures 6 in. square. In good condition, with minor flaking of the gold on the halo of the Madonna and child. Back stamped Made in Germany V&B Danischburg.I believe this was produced pre WW2.
This lovely Madonna figurine stands 5 in. tall. The base measures 4 x 1.75 in. It does have all-over crazing. Normal due to its age. Bottom marked Madonna by Tiera Funero, Original Goldscheider Fine china, Goldscheider Inc. in a circle and a C in the center of the circle. Also an impressed 11. No chips or cracks, just the crazing. Lovely to display with its understated color and sleek style and high gloss finish.
