The dish is 3 inches in diameter with heavy gold on the design and the trim and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. Neat!

Backside is marked: gold crown symbol, then 'Gloria Fine Porcelain' Bavaria, Bayreuth West-Germany, 'Brilliant' Gold 22 carat. This great example is most likely from the Raymor line of imported articles made in Italy for the American market. Marked on the bottom in gold ink is B56 Italy. The covered cigarette box is extremely heavy. The bottom is a matte black glaze. The top has a tan background with yellow and black horizontal lines through it . A very striking combination of colors and a very good Mid Century piece of pottery! There are some small chips to the black base on the inside of the box where the lid comes into contact with it, thus the reasonable price. The top is undamaged . Add it to your Raymor or Italian Mid-Century pottery collection today

A very nice bud vase in the Portugal Pottery called Vestal, Alcobaca. Number 433. Measures 2.5 in. diameter. and stands 3.5 in. tall. No damage that I can find. this light blue with floral and cobalt blue edge has become quite collectable. Attractive to display and use.
A portrait vase, standing 4 ½ inches in height with a wide body and two handles, marked on bottom: Austria. Condition: there are a number of defects. There is an extra speck of material under the glaze- pin head in size, done in manufacturing, on both the front and the rear. The front one falls into her hair area, and not terribly noticeable, except under close inspection. Probably would not be noticed being displayed. I've had this displayed and have enjoyed the vase from a distance, and this does not detract for me, but if you are more discerning and want a flawless vase, please know this one has manufacturing flaws, also there are several area's at the widest point on the vase, where the paint has minor rubs, plus a tight hairline on the inside front top rim, not extending through to the outside. I've tried to price this to reflect these condition problems, still it's a nice old vase.
A two handled Austrian vase, with a beautiful portrait of a brown eyed woman, with pink roses adorning her hair. Vase stands six inches height and has a 2 1/8 th inch round base. The vase has marks on the bottom. The painted mark is mostly gone, and it has impressed 9882 . Condition: has problems, there is a rim chip in back, would be easy to repair, there is a tiny area of paint loss at her eyebrow , and one other manufacturing flaw on the piece, all minor. Still she is darling and displays nicely, and priced to reflect these age problems.
Artist signed cup, with a bamboo handle, stands 2 5/8 inches in height and 3 inches across the rim. Hand painted blue flowers, with gold lettering and trim. A bit of fading to the gold, mostly to the inside line of gold trim, no chips or cracks to this very old cup.
Here's a pretty, mug, ornately decorated with beading and hand painted with flowers of blues and lavenders, with gold lettering Think of Me on front. Is stamped on bottom: Made in Germany, which dates it to the 1920's. Size: 3 ¼ inches height and 3 1/3 inches top opening. Nice condition, no chips or cracks, has a smudge of blue paint on the inside rim, under the glaze, so from manufacturing.
Here's a beautiful cup, with an attached bird near the rim, and lots of beadwork, which extends around the lettering on this cup. The cup is marked on bottom: Made in Germany (which dates it to after 1920), in red lettering. The decoration and lettering is in gold, really in nice condition. Size: 3 inches height and 3 ¼ inches across the top rim. Condition: no damage, some spots in material, drips to glaze, all from manufacturing process.
Here's a nicely dated small porcelain smoke set, consisting of 4 personal ash trays with pink roses on the center, and the matching holder, which is marked on bottom: Royal Fettau - Germany U.S. Zone, dating the piece to 1945-1949. A delicate little set, the ashtrays measure 3 ½ inches and the little holder is 2 inches in height. No damage, except loss of some of the gold trim around the rims.

The shakers have cork stoppers and stand 3.25 inches tall; no chips or cracks. They all feature 3 ladies; good condition. Bottom of shakers has green backstamp: Import of Tchkcoslovagzk, (hard to make out, but I would think it is an older way of spelling Czechoslovakia). Beautiful artist signed Bavarian hand painted large charger. Signed: 'Albert John' in script on display side; backside has blue underglaze symbol that looks just like an F. Thomas mark, but inside it reads: Th u E, then MR. Under this mark it has Bavaria in red; then in red: Moavechal Niel, and Hand Painted in blue. No chips or cracks; the painting is very well done, but there are some small visible scratches. You will only notice the scratches it if is in your hands, not in your china cabinet. This charger is almost 12.75 inches wide. The perfect gift for the person who appreciates the finer things in life! Put a paper doily on it and serve a beautiful torte cake, or just display in the china cabinet! 12/05djauccV
RPM Germany Porcelain Plaque. Great looking porcelain plaque, (looks like transferware). It is marked on the back in gold: R.P.M. These dogs are sooooo charming. They are 6 3/4 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide and have a crazed creamy white finish. The eyes and face are hand painted pale tan. The dogs are in the STAFFORDSHIRE flatback style and are both stamped on the bottom 'ITALY'. They are in super condition. I have not idea as to their age. They were purchased from an elderly lady at an antique study club sale that I frequent two times a year. She is downsizing her home, so I could not resisst them.
Hand painted artist signed Bavarian cabinet plate or platter. Has green backstamp: Crown, then Bareuther Waldassen Bavaria, Germany in red, then signed, H. Sergfried, (can't quite make out one letter in the last name). This platter has a thick gold painted rim, and pink roses with green leaves. No chips or cracks and is 11.75 wide. This painting on this platter is very pretty but not exceptionally detailed, so I think you can actually use it to serve food on as long as you put a nice paper doily on it first, (see pic #6). It would make an excellent housewarming gift! estcs
