Bright & colorful Maddux of California round pottery vase or planter, with impressed company identification and 'No. 107' on underside base. Rich light pink glossy interior glaze with matte exterior of light turquoise covered all-over with gold swirling, curling lines. Exterior appears hand-painted, as may have been interior pink since there appear to be darker swirls or drips within the overall pink. Stands about 3 3/4 inches tall, top diameter 4 5/8 inches, cinches in before base which has a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. Wonderful condition, no chips, cracks, etc. There is a little bit of small discoloration or spots on the interior along with some darker spots that appear in the glaze, and some pin or pit dots on the exterior with perhaps some paint smearing or minor discoloration. There is also some expected wear or dirt on the underside base on which the piece sits. But when you look at this piece you don't notice anything but the impressive bold coloring & style.
