Vintage, Mexican art pottery bud vase. Bulbous, white pottery vase with hand painted pale blue background and blue bird on a leafy branch. The bird and leaves have raised, pale blue enamel accents. The vase is finished with a high gloss glaze. Signed Cozumel and A Mexico. Size: 5 1/8 inches tall. Condition: Some glaze crazing.

Two vintage Mexican planters for one price. Thick, heavy, colorful pottery. First one is the blue/orange landscape scene signed: J. Galantr with Mexico mark on bottom. It is 5 inches tall. Next one has a large white flower with Mexico mark. it is 4 inches tall. These are great for potting sheds or out in the garden with sedum plants. Festive pottery! Ken Edwards Mexican Folk Art Pottery Dinner Bell. This hand made and painted dinner bell is designed by Ken Edwards, This one is in excellent condition, is has a bird chancing a butterfly and a big blue flower. There are no chips, cracks, repairs. It is approximately 5 1/2 inches tall by 5 3/4 inches round. The bottom of the bell is Ken Edward's initials, K.E.(for Ken Edwards), Mexico and what looks like the letter F. Ken Edwards was born in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated in sculpture and ceramics from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1959. After residing in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico for 4 years, he began the production of stoneware ceramics. The product that was developed was a combination of three factors: the world famous traditional Tonala hand-painted decoration; the ancient Chinese technology of reduction-fired celadon stoneware, and Ken's original designs. This revolutionized ceramic production in Tonala without losing its rich popular tradition. Ken Edwards is now retired and is presently living in Guadalajara. Vintage Wooden Mexican BALERO or CUP AND BALL TOY OLD BALEROS ARE HARD-TO-FIND. CUP AND BALL HAS ITS ORIGINS IN MEXICO IN THE SIXTEENTH CENTURY The flollowing information comes from Wikipedia:... Cup-and-ball (or ball in a cup) is a traditional children's toy, consisting of a wooden cup with a handle, and a ball which is attached to a string, which is attached to the cup. It is popular in Spanish-speaking countries, where it is called boliche . The name varies across many countries - in Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, and Mexico it is called balero ; in Spain it is boliche ; in Brazil it is called bilboquê ; in Chile it is boliche or emboque ; in Colombia it is called coca or ticayo ; and in Venezuela the game is called perinola. The main goal of the game is to get the ball into the cup. While the concept is very easy, mastering the game sometimes requires many hours of practice. To play, the player holds the cup by the handle and lets the ball hang freely. The player then tosses the ball upward by jerking the arm holding the toy, attempting to catch the ball in the cup. The player must not use any body part other than their handle-holding arm to catch the ball. The player must not purposefully bounce the ball off their body to change its trajectory. Two vintage Mexican pottery planters. = $18/each! First is the brown/orange flower planter, (hanging pot); good overall condition. It is 4.5 tall x 4.5 at top opening. Next one is same size but has more paint loss on it. I call these 'happy planters'. They look great in the garden with trailing sedum in them. 7/11smc

Three old Mexican pottery pieces. The vase is in good condition; it stands 5.5 tall x 5.25 wide; marked MEXICO on bottom. The deep orange pot has some wear; paint loss; it is 5.25 tall x 5.25 wide; last one is 4.5 tall x 4.5 wide at top opening. It has a lot of paint loss near top of planter. Happy pots for your garden! I like to fill these with sedum plants and put them on iron pot stands in the garden. 5/11

Two nice older style Mexican pottery planters and a Mexican man planter is included. = $18/each. The pots are both marked Mexico on the bottoms. Some paint loss here and there but overall condition is good vintage. The butterscotch one is 5.25 tall x 6.5 across top opening. Tan/black one is same size. Antique shops sell these for $45-65/each! The Mexican man planter is 4.5 tall; red Japan inkstamp and he has one fleabite on the back top of sombrero. 1/11smc+

Mexican pottery Incised Artwork and signiture excellent condition. Artist is Armando, Beautiful pot, looks like a dark Terra Cota pottery, smooth inside, more of a matte finish on the outside. Its 9 1/2 inches high with a 5 inches wide opening. No chips cracks very nice

Three vintage planters from Mexico. = only $16/each. Antique shops sell these for $45/each! Large orange one is 7.5 tall x 9 wide; has a hairline on top rim but displays very nice. Next is the brown pot with sun motif, 6 inches tall. Some gouges in clay and flecks of paint off, but is a cool looking piece. Last is the very vintage pot. It is 3.5 tall x 5 wide. 11/10variestcs

This extremely nice tile panel was hand painted by Vicente Flores Navarro, at the Ceramica Santa Ana, which was founded in the Triana district of Sevilla in 1939. The tile blanks are from the firm of Mensaque Rodriguez (Spain). Three tiles make up this scene of a bull and matador in a stadium. The tiles measure 10 7/8 x 5 1/2 by just under 1/2 thick. The right tile has a large chip on its bottom left corner. Otherwise, in very nice condition. I believe this is circa 1940's. (#T-1931) This tile panel, and the other one I have in stock from this artist and company are unusual as the majority of works produced were usually religious retablos and Bible scenes. LOVELY!!! MEXICAN round wood hand painted hand carved bowl/tray/batea. This is a new reproduction of an antique batea. Measures 9-1/4 across x 1-7/8 tall. Hand painted and hand carved in one piece by artisans from Mexico. This technique was taught by the Spaniard conquerors over 200 years ago. This tray can be added to any collection of folk art. It measures about 5 3/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches and is signed on the back Paul Carl 1960. It would be a terrific addition to your collection!

Vintage Mexico Mexican Pottery Blue Pitcher Bird & Butterfly. This is such a pretty piece! It has a pattern of birds and butterflies with white and brown highlights. It is just over 6 1/2 inches tall and is 6 1/4 inches measuring from the spout to the handle. It is in lovely condition, no chips and is marked on the bottom with Mexico and the artist's initials. It would be a terrific addition to your collection or lovely to decorate with!

Vintage Mexican Pottery Large Duck Figurine. This figurine measures about 5& inches tall and about 8 inches in length, it is in good condition, no chips, slight wear to the paint in a couple of spots on the back, signed Mexico on the bottom. It would be a lovely addition to your collection!

Handmade Figural Flute. Very detailed piece in Mint condition. Head Dress is Magnificant. The mouthpiece to actually play the Flute is at the very top of his head and all the holes to make different sounds run along the front of his body, and down his legs. It does actually Play with a lovely sound. We have no idea of its age. Came out of an Estate Sale from collector of these items.

Vintage Tonala handcrafted Mexican pottery duck. Burnished to a lovely sheen, handpainted black, white, and clay red. A very well-done scene of a stretching white llama. 13 in. long x 7 1/4 in. high. Condition-some normal scuffs, 1 foot has a chip, neck has a firing defect stress crack on the underside, duck's bill has some tooth marks (probably from a toddler chewing on it), some price tag remnants underneath, has original foil label, Hecho en Mexico. Unmarked Spanish tile measuring 5 3/8 square. Decorated in the cuerda seca method, the scene is of a man, woman and child serving food to a solider - probably a scene from Don Quixote. Vase, American Indian. This plain white vase is 8 tall. It is decorated with soft leather, a black feather, and a button-like piece of dark metal. There are also some little square tiles on one side painted in pretty colors. It is in excellent condition. Not marked

Vase, Hozoni Pottery, American Indian. This is an authentic piece of Hozoni Navajo Indian pottery. The vase measures 6 x 2 . Hand-painted designs surround the sides of the vase. It is in mint condition, has the original Hozoni pottery label on the bottom of the piece, and is signed by the artist.

Extremely bright blue and yellow floral hand painted Mexican bowl. It measures 6 1/8 in diameter and is marked MEX. on the bottom. It has overall crazing.
