This shell shaped dish, tray measures 4 in. diameter and is 1.25 in. tall. Bottom marked Rosetti Made in Occupied Japan. This mark dates it from '46-'52. In good, usable, displayable condition. Free of damage.
Here are two pieces of doll furniture, probably date to the 1940's and one is marked made in Japan and one is unmarked. Sofa measures 4 inches length, 2 inches width, 2 ¾ inches height, and is white with gold decoration of cold paint. The china chair is 3 ¼ inches height, has two Japan marks, and is about an inch and a half square, with some pink coloring on the seat and back.

Has a green border with a floral pattern, and is just lovely. Seems to be very old from the crazing, and has one hairline crack. Bottom is unglazed / rest is glazed. This is a cute sitting Dutch girl, with her shoes sticking out and her red hat sticks above the striped, oval planter. To the top of the hat is 3 ¾ inches and the height of the planter is 2 ½ inches, and the width is 2 inches, and is 3 ½ inches in length. The bottom is stamped: Made In Japan.
Featured for your enjoyment is a cool old occupied Japan porcelain cigarette holder/server. Now this is a very unusual piece. It has 17 small holders to place cigarettes in seated up on a pedestal. There are 4 handles shaped like a group of leaves on the sides. It has a hand painted floral pattern with a small brown bird at the top. One holder has been repaired. This left a small V chip missing. It is marked with the Ardalt back stamp. Measures 2 3/4 tall by 6 3/8 across the handles.
Featured for your enjoyment is a lovely porcelain figurine from Occupied Japan. This is a lady in period dress with a cape and carrying a bucket. Looks like there are flower top showing in the bucket top. Now she has a small chip on her hat. HOWEVER, this is glazed over with clear glaze so it had to happen at the factory. No other damage noted. She stands 6 1/2 tall.

This bread and butter plate measures 6 5/8 th inches across. Marked on back: Diamond - Made In Japan - Hand Painted. Has on tiny rim chip to the back side. And a few areas in the center, where the paint has faded a bit, manufacturing flaws, a great border, and three areas of floral decorations, with vibrant colors!

Featured is a lovely figural lamp made in Occupied Japan. It is a couple in period dress. It is in working order. There is one extremely small nick on the mans nose. I think it came out of the factory this way. I do not have a shade for it. It stands 10 tall by 4 3/4 wide.

No chips, but has crazing, and a few glaze flaws, paint smears, and the like. Candle holder is for a 1- 1/8-inch candle.

I truly can't tell if it has been re-touched up with black or if it was in the manufacturing process. I find no chips, nicks, cracks, etc. Just a shade difference in the black coloring near the top. Rare Set of 3 Geese Wallpockets, Vintage, Made in Occupied Japan. The largest goose in this hard-to-find set measures 10 3/4 long and 9 high. The second is 9 1/2 long and 7 high and the third is 7 3/4 long by 5 high. They are painted in beautiful vivid colors and each has two holes in the back for hanging and an opening in the top for the flowers. (See photographs). They have crazing due to their age but there are no cracks or chips. Very good condition and each is marked Made in Occupied Japan . In addition, one has the remnants of the old Hales Brothers label. (Hales was a department store in San Francisco and Oakland during the 40's and 50's).

He is painted in pastel shades of green, blue pink and white. Other than a couple of dark pinhead-sized marks on his face and a little brown mark in the tree, it's in good vintage condition. Figurine, Colonial Couple, Occupied Japan. This porcelain couple is 4 1/4 tall and 2 wide. The girl is dressed in a beautiful pink formal dress, parted in the center to expose a lovely turquoise blue undergarment over an ivory pleated gold-trimmed ruffle at the bottom. He has his arm over her shoulders and is holding his hat under his other arm. There is overall gold trimming on both the man and the woman. This figurine is in very good condition -- no chips, cracks or crazing. It is marked Made in Occupied Japan on the base.

Very pretty set of 4 demitasse cups and saucers in a WILD ROSE type of pattern with brick red background and gold rims. Stamped with the GOLDCASTLE made in Japan mark on the bottom of each piece, dates this set to the early to mid 50's. There are a few mold imperfections here and there as is often the case with porcelain and china from Japan of this period, but there are no cracks or chips. There is no chip in the rim of the cup as shown in the photos, it is just the light reflecting off the edge.

Occupied Japan brown transfer demitasse cup & saucer. Porcelain. Occupied Japan. c. 1945-1952. Made by Jyoto China. Nice little footed demitasse cup & saucer. A bunch of flowers (laurel?) & foliage is displayed on one side. A single flower & foliage on the other. The transfer pattern is done in shades of brown & tan giving it an almost sepia quality. The palest of yellows highlights the center of each flower & is at the border. Gilt edges, ring at cup foot & lining on handle. CONDITION: Excellent (pings).

Two match and have 2 gilt rings. The other has 1 gilt ring. Each coaster is 3.75 in diameter. CONDITION: Good (light scratches) (heavy wear to gilt ring on one; at one time all had gilt edges)
