Bennington Pottery large bowl in a dark blue marked Vermont and the year started, 1877. It is in wonderful condition with a nice lip on the top. It is very heavy and is 6 1/4 inches high and 8 1/2 inches wide. We have found no chips or cracks but there are a few surface scratches in the surface to the blue. This is a wonderful, large bowl to find and sold just as found.

Attractive little jug with Chinoiserie design in the Imari colors of Indian red and cobalt blue - with details overpainted in yellow. Jug measures 10 cm high and 9.7 cm wider handle to spout (about 4 inches by 3.7/8 inches). Very good condition. Circa 1810-1840.

This outstanding tile was made by Richard E. Bishop. It depicts a bird in flight, on a light turquoise background. Raised line technique, combination of matte and semi matte glazes. Measures 6 square by 5/8 thick. This could be depicting a snipe or a bog sprite. It has a long black beak, a rusty brown body and brown and blue-gray wings. Impressed Richard E. Bishop on the back. In excellent condition. (#1864) Richard Evett Bishop (1887-1975) - has a varied and well recognized career in art. He created the 1936 Federal Duck Stamp - and is particularly well know for his works depicting game birds and water fowl. Google his name for a full bio. Lovely Antique handpainted Limoges Fish decorated plate. It is large and beautifully detailed with purple and white water lillies accented in yellow. Artist signed. Scalloped rim. Note the old repair on one portion of the rim, tight and in good condition. Great old antique mark on the back.

Hand painted portrait of a fish signed by A Coulauh on the lower left hand side of this very old plate. Crazing present, graphics are clear, and gold rim looks good, very shiny. Lots of character. This large pottery donkey with cart planter is marked: Made in Japan. In good + condition he does have age crazing throughout with plaster marks as I have shown in my pictures, he still hold water and he measures 5 3/4 inches tall, 7 7/8 inches long and 3 1/4 inches wide.
