Purinton

Wonderful large milk pitcher with the designs of the Purinton Pottery. Pitcher is 6 1/2 tall and 6 in diameter. Does have one little flea chip on the spout, but otherwise in excellent condition.

Purinton Pottery Ivy Kent Jug or Pitcher. Purinton Pottery was located in Ohio and started to produce their slip ware pattern from 1940 to 1959. This method of creating hand painted designs earned them the designation of being pioneers in this style of pottery. Although they named their patterns most of their hollow ware was identified by its shape rather then pattern. This piece is a kent jug and often mistakenly called a pitcher. The pattern is Ivy, it features deep maroon flowers on a brown stem with green leaves. It is 4 1/2 inches tall and about 5 1/2 inches long, although not marked it was made by Purinton and is in excellent condition. Please see our other listings for additional pieces in this pattern.

This Apple Snack Plate and Cup were made by Purinton. The Snack Plate is signed on the bottom Purinton Slip Ware Handpainted. The Plate measures 7 3/4 inchees X 8 1/4 inches. Both the Plate and Cup are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The hand-painted decorations are all very good. This is sold as a 2-piece set. This really nice Apple Teapot and Lid were made by Purinton. The Teapot is signed on the bottom Purinton Slip Ware. The Teapot bottom and lid are both in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The painted decoration is all very good. Be sure to search our other Purinton available.

This really nice Fruit decorated FLOUR Canister and Lid were made by Purinton. This Canister is signed Purinton Slip Ware. It measures 8 3/4 inches to top of knob and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The hand-painted decoration is all very good. Be sure to search our other Purinton available.

Wonderful pottery made by purinton. Probably from the 1950s. Tea pot is 5 1/2 tall and 6 1/2 across. Has crazing on the inside due to the age, but otherwise in excellent condition.

Wonderful small Purinton creamer that would look great in anyone's collection. Creamer is 5 1/2 tall and is signed Purinton, Slip Ware on the bottom. There is some crazing on the inside and a flea crack and chip on the lid, but not very noticeable. All rest is in excellent shape.

Featured is a neat old piece of Puritan art pottery. This is an ewer with a over the top handle. Floral spray on the bottom and green to represent the leaves on the handle and spout. it is in excellent condition and with that handle shaped like that it is really incredible! Made between 1938 and 1958. It stands 6 1/4 tall by 5 across.
