Vintage milk bottles, opener, linen and basket! Both bottles are half pints. First is the H.A. McDonald Creamery Co. with old paper top on one of the bottles. The bottom of bottle reads: Douglas? It is hard to make it out. The paper label top appears to be the original on this bottle; it was on it when purchased. Next bottle has a paper top titled: Marble Farms, Syracuse N.Y. 3 cent bottle. Bottle is a bit cloudy; I did not remove the lid to clean it. Next is a great advertising item; it is a metal milk bottle opener, (used to spear the paper lids to get them off the bottle). It reads: Milk Always Pure Detroit Creamery. Next is a vintage linen kithen towel Made in Poland. Last is the cute wire basket to display these items in! 4/13
Six cool vintage milk bottles and an awesome vintage metal carrier. All are around 5.5 inch half pint bottles. The first bottle is a very hard to find Belle Isle Farmers Jersey bottle, Detroit, Mich. (old State abbreviation). It has a fleabite on upper rim and some fissures that are within the glass and it needs a good cleaning. One side is fine, other side you can see the flaws. Next is a Genesee bottle; next is a Albion Dealers milk bottle; one is a 3 cent bottle; other two say: Dairy Container. The vintage basket is metal with painted roses. It makes a really cute shelf display in your country kitchen! Items like this sell for $149 and up at antique shows. I estimate the basket to be from the 1930's, (similar style roses are present on old Hazel Atlas nut bulb style nutchoppers from that period). 2+8/11
Four awesome vintage dairy bottles and a cool metal rack. First is the pyro bottle: Krauss' Dairy Sebewaing; next is another pyro bottle: Hershy's Milk Chocolate; next is a clear bottle: Palmerton? Sanitary; and last is a neat Wilson's Mello D Milk bottle. The Wilson's bottle has some wear on the red lettering, but not bad. It is the shortest one being 5.25 inches tall; others are 5.5 inch half pints. The cool metal rack looks pretty old, (it has a rust tinge), but it has a newer ceramic tile wired in the bottom; which looks like it was added by the previous owner. 2/13
Neat old Fraim's pyro dairy bottle. 1 QT, Wilminington DE. This dairy is no longer in business according to my research. There is some wear on some of the letters. Bottle stands 9.5 tall. 12/12
Large antique iron cowbell. Large clapper; makes a loud sound. Riveting on both sides. It is 7 inches tall x 5 wide. Some rust residue, not bad. These look cute spray painted and hand decorated hung outside; or use for your indoor primitive display collection. 9/12scs
This shabby chic collectible old tin shaving mirror is hard to find because most were thrown away. It's bottom compartment was to store a comb or other grooming necessities. Condition: Some Paint lose, common on aged tinware but solid. Size: 8 inches wide X 11 inches high.
Large vintage wire dairy bottle carrier. Old item, but has many new uses! Can be used on the front porch to hold flower pots full of herbs! Or, as a table centerpiece with faux plants. The flower pots shown in the pictures are not included. This carrier stands 16 inches tall x 19 long x 10 wide. Holds 8 dairy milk bottles. It could also be spray painted any color you like and used in a powder room to hold rolled towels, or for your garden/potting shed! A decorator's delight! 6/12trcs+
These 8 antique sleigh brass bells have dark patina, riveted on an old leather strap that has wear from decades of use. The hole at one end is for hanging, known as a doorknocker. Visitors ring these bells(by shaking) announcing their arrival at the door especially at Christmas time. Overall condition; good for being over 100 years old. Length of strap - 20 inches Ea. large Bell - 1 1/2 in. dia.

An old jug from a Pennsylvania Farm. It is hand painted with Folk art work of flowers, leaves sprays and swirls. Some paint has flaked but the jug itself is in excellent condition with no physical damage such as chips, cracks or hairlines. Size: 1 gallon
Vintage Sealtest Milk crate. Thick wood slats with metal sides. Good overall condition. One piece of bottom slat is worn off but this doesn't show because it is on the bottom. Great to store dairy bottles, or small washboards, etc. 1/12brcs
This fake egg is one of the those fake eggs that the farmer's wife use to place in the nest of hens to encourage them to lay. The pencil writing on this egg reads: Found Nov 12 1924 by Paul.
Very cool quart milk bottle carrier. Plants not included, for display only. This carrier holds 8 quart size milk bottles. This type of carrier is harder to find. Great to showcase milk bottles, or put pots with plants in them! Or, add a variety of wine and give as a shower or housewarming gift! It is 12 tall x 15 long x 7.75 wide. Neat item for the front porch, kitchen, garden too! 7/11armcs
Really cool vintage cheese box with handle and 4 vintage glass dairy bottles. The cheese box is from Swift & Co., Chicago, Ill. Note the old State abbreviation. The bottles are 5.25 tall and in good condition. I have some fake snow flakes in them to look like milk. The cheese box is 12 long x 4 wide x 6.5 tall. The cute box can be used for other items also. 1/11brcs
Six vintage dairy bottles and primitive wood carrier. The wood carrier and 2 of the bottles were were purchased from a farm estate. The other bottles are from another estate. 4 bottles are 3 cent bottles; one is a Sealtest; one is a Farmer's Delight. They all fit in this cute carrier. A nice country kitchen display! Just saw a similar item with only 4 bottles for $149 at an antique show! Why pay more? 10/10nhestcs
Large antique Orson Starr cowbell. c:1800's. Probably was made for a bull. Original black paint; handle is a bit irregular; raised name: 'O Starr #6'. It is 7.5 tall x 5.5 wide. Iron. No clapper so I improvised with an old leather string and antique fishing weight. You can find an on-line site that does replacement clappers, leave as is, or find a welder to make one. O Starr was located in Royal Oak, MI in the 1800's and he made these cowbells. Awesome accessory for a western or country themed abode! The red one in one of the pics has sold; this is the only O Starr left and they are extremely hard to find. 10/10mm#
Antique horse head hitching post. c:1800's. The real McCoy! Molded iron. Extremely heavy; some rust spots, and some missing paint spots, but overall condition is 'good antique'. Paint and metal is smooth, not grainy as the newer junk ones are. This had a piece of the wood post in it when purchased, but I had to remove it due to some creepy crawlies in it. It stands 11.5 tall x 8.5 long x post area is 4.5 wide. An awesome item for a western or country themed room! Or, use it outdoors in the garden on a wood or iron post! 10/10mm#
Two vintage glass milk bottles, a neat wood basket, and vintage linen towel and apron. The basket is an estate sale item, (not vintage). Great display items for your kitchen shelf! 8/10varies+
Cool little iron rack that holds 6 small 1/2 pint dairy bottles. The wood milk bottles in the carrier were purchased from a country farm house in MI, not sure if they are molds for dairy bottles, or what. If they were/are actual dairy molds, they are very rare. Plus, you get the vintage Country Store Frankenmouth linen kitchen towel. Makes a really neat kitchen display! 7/10antmc+11/10
Deco style, 6 sided black tole tray with cut out lattice work. The hand painted fruit designed is highlighted with gold gilding. Original tag attached to bottom reads: NASHCO. Condition: good with some light scratches. Size: 15 inches by 21 inches.
Cute wood egg basket and 2 vintage milk bottles and vintage linen towel. The basket is not vintage, estate sale item. One milk bottle is marked: Daily Creamery Co., other is plain: Dairy Container. The vintage linen towel is awesome! It features early American woodenware and doesn't look used; marked: By Hand. 4/10ant#3012
Vintage milk carrier. Looks like an old Sealtest milk carrier but could be another company. It holds 2 half gallon milk bottles. Bottles not included. Carrier is in good vintage condition. Nice because it is not too large, and can sit on a kitchen shelf, hutch, fridge, or on the porch! You can also put vintage flower pots in these instead of bottles. If you want the bottles, price would be $50 and additional shipping. 1/10esa#2855
Vintage milk carrier and four antique Ball Mason jars and apron for sale. Cool metal carrier, holds 4 milk bottles or as here, 4 fruit jars. The fruit jars are aqua with zinc lids, good condition. Also a cute one piece apron with aqua and pink colors! If you are crafty you can covert the lids into soap/lotion dispeners which are all the rage now, see pic #6. 12/09brcs
Antique iron cowbell. It has seamed sides, rivets and folded over top side edge. Big clapper. Just the exterior copper like finish is worn. It is 4.25 tall x 3 wide. I like to use Howard's beeswax on these to spruce them up; it is a natural product that can be washed off. It cleans and protects from further rusting. A nice old bell to start a collection with! rofl1/09cs
Cute wood basket with three vintage milk bottles. One is a Twin Pines bottle; it needs a good soak in efferdent; next is a vintage Lord's Dairy glass milk bottle. Good condition, L D logo on bottom. Last is a 3 cent bottle Dairy Container Corp, Detroit, Mich. Note the old State abbreviation. All are about 5.5 tall; 1/2 pint bottles. Convenient way to display some nostalgia in your kitchen! 4/08est+2/10esa#2864
Antique branding iron. No. 2. It is 37.5 long. Just a unique antique for your garden, umbrella stand, near the fireplace hearth, or wherever you like to show off your primitives!
Antique Sargent what I can make out reads: New Haven, Conn. (note the old State abbreviation on it). No. 14, Western. It has big iron clapper, big bell sound, riveted sides. It is 6.5 tall x 4 wide. I like to use Howard's beeswax on these to spruce them up; it is a natural product; it can be washed off. It cleans and protects from further rusting. Nice out in the garden cupboard or indoors on a shelf or primitive box/crate, etc.
Vintage hand painted iron cowbell. It is signed: Gayle Gilford Feller, Nashville, TN. The painting on this features a rural setting with barn, ladder, flower garden, colorful trees. Very nice detailed painting. Interior has some rust residue. Iron clapper. It is 5.5 tall x 5 wide x 3.5 deep. A very unique collectible item.
Large antique iron cowbell with original leather collar. The leather collar is very large; was likely for a big bull! Cowbell has riveted sides. It stands 6.5 tall x 4.25 wide x 3.25 deep. Big iron clapper. Very cool display item! (Picture #8 shows some of my other cowbells for sale herein). These old cowbells look great out in the garden cupboard too! You know you'd pay more for this item at a live auction! brncs3.07
Antique cow bell and collar. (small leather collar; was likely for a baby goat or lamb). The metal is likely bronze; possibly brass, but not cast iron, magnet doesn't stick to it. Good condition, stands 3 tall x 2.75 wide. Has small leather collar attached to it. Hard to find with the original leather collar! Very ecclectic item especially nice in a country, western or primitive style decor! #1669-ggau-2-07
Vintage cheese box, dairy bottles, kitchen linen. The Shefford Cheese Co. Wis. box is 11.75 long x 5 wide x 3.25 tall has old State abbreviation on it. You also get a vintage Martex kitchen towel and 4 dairy bottles. 11/10csest
Antique stoneware chick feeder. Hard to find unique item! Some books refer to them 'sanitary poultry fountains', or 'sanitary milk feeders'. It is missing the bottom stoneware pan, but I substituted an antique grey graniteware pan which looks good and works just fine. This chick feeder stands 9.25 tall x 7.5 wide across bottom rim. It has one noticeable glaze pop, and a tiny fleabite off middle rim; nothing major for an oldie like this! This feeder could be a McCoy, Zanesville, Monmouth, RRP, or any of the great old American pottery companies; they all made these.
Primitive wood egg crate. Has a hardwood handle and the top comes off to reveal the original cardboard egg cartons, (double egg cartons on two rows that will hold 48 eggs total I believe). And, there is a stamp mark on the wood when you remove the cartons, but by the time it took me to figure out how to get the top back on, I had forgotten what the name was! I think it said Oscoda, Michigan, (maybe Owosso, both towns are in northern MI). It is in good vintage condition and is 12.5 x 12.5 and is 7.5 tall. A great display item for your abode, or outside in the garden near a potting shed/cupboard!
