Found this wonderful hand blown decanter in an estate sale with grandpa and great-grandpa stuff. Decanter is way over 75 years old since it is turning purple. Glass has not been made with lead for around 100 years now. These were made to be able to put wine that was in a barrel onto the table. No stopper was needed. Very large pontil is on the bottom of the decanter. Decanter is 9" tall and in excellent condition.
