Attractive mauve colored paperweight doorstop (or magnum paperweight). Signed near the base: "Robert Barber 744 B18". Based on the estate this was purchased from, it was probably made in the early 1970s. It has mauve pulled glass around 8 large free floating carefully placed bubbles and the entire piece is encased in clear glass. Quite attractive and looks unused! Height: ~5".

Robert Barker is a well-known glass artist who worked at Fenton Studios for a while and then opened his own glass studio. Fenton has honored him with the "Robert Barber Collection" of artglass vases.
