This Versace Treasury 27 ounce Decanter with Medusa head is crafted of fine lead crystal by the prestigious German company Rosenthal and is marked: Rosenthal / Versace. It was designed by Gianni Versace in 1999.
The Rosenthal Company was founded by Philip Rosenthal Sr. in 1879 in Selb, Germany. He began his business by purchasing white dinnerware from Hutschenreuther, another Germany dinnerware manufacturer.
His wife, the French Countess Maria de Beurges, hand-painted the ware and Rosenthal sold the painted china door to door. By the time of World War II, Rosenthal operated 10 companies and employed over 5,000 workers.

Beautifully detailed the stopper is frosted and without packing it weighs 5.6 pounds.
In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 12 inches tall with the stopper, 3 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches deep that tapers down to a 3 inch base.
