This is a set of 2 Soriano Ceramics tiles of a drinking man and woman. The background is white with bright colors of blue, green, yellow and rust. They measure 6 square. They are marked on the back and are in good condition. The man has a few minute fleabites around the rim-hardly noticeable. A great set!
This is a beautifully made signed pottery pitcher. It is in shades of blue with a maroon or berry color. There is a signature on the bottom. It measures approximately 4 1/2 tall, 3 1/2 round in the center and 2 3/8 round on the base. It is in good condition. A striking piece!
Up for sale is a unique handmade earthenware (clay) vase. It measures approximately 5 1/2 tall with the top measuring 4 1/2 round. The top is surrounded with wicker and there are earthenware balls tied in twine hanging from the side handles. The body is scored in a grid pattern with a painted pattern in white below that. There are a lot of different aspects to this piece. I could not find a maker's mark on it. It is in good condition with some paint wear here and there. An intriguing to admire!
Unique Set of Four (4) Small Ceramic Slip Cast Tumblers The tumblers are each Slip Cast from a one-piece mold in a white clay-body. When they were leather-hard, a design (representing stonework castle towers) was scratched into their surfaces. To further simulate stonework, they were brushed with a brown 'art' glaze; which, when fired, produced tones from a translucent light cocoa to a deep chocolate brown. (The innear surface almost looks like wood grain.) The base of each is marked, with my first initial and last name, over a numeral 4. They were made in circa 1972, for use at medieval re-enactment events (i.e. SCA tourneys and revels). Each glass shaped tumbler holds about six (6) fluid ounces; measures about four (4) inches tall with an outside upper diameter of about two and three-quarters (2¾) inches and an inside upper diameter of about two and three-eigths (2-3/8) inches; the outside lower diameter is about two and one-quarter (2¼) inches. (Since they were hand crafted all measurements vary slightly.) CONDITION: USED. All have a few, very small, use scratches. There are some areas (mainly in lines between 'stones') where the glaze crawled and /or did not cover completely. One tumbler has some slight crazing. No chips or cracks. Overall condition is VERY GOOD. SHIPPING and HANDLING: USPS Priority Mail, under 4 lbs., rate depends on zip code. Shipping information may be found at the bottom of store home page. Insurance (recomended) is at the discretion and expense of the buyer. Please use the question button to ask for international rates.
