Most are from Wisconsin, some from else where All are good to VG condition  Dr Ray Vaughn Pierce, known for selling his various nostrums and prescription remedies for whatever ails you was also considered one of the medical profession’s prince of quacks. Establishing his Invalid’s Hotel in Buffalo, New York in the late 1800’s, Dr Pierce was able to convince everyday citizens that his concoctions, either in tablet or liquid form, would cure their ills. This 32 page booklet is a First Aid Booklet and more – for every other page has one of Dr. Pierce’s medical discoveries available for sale. Testimonials and photos from individuals all over the country attest to the positive affects of taking Dr. Pierce’s tonics and medication. Step back to a time when outrageous claims could be made for most any type of elixir – without the benefit of proof. Along with the booklet, there are several printed pages describing the doctor’s patent medicines and what the contents of those bottles held. There is browning/discoloration of the individual pages but no markings or writings. It also appears as though the cover had separated from the lower portion of the booklet, and had been glued back.  This fine vintage advertisement for a 1955 ad for Delsey Toilet Tissue is in excellent condition but slightly yellowed. This magazine ad measures approx. 10" x 13" and is suitable for framing. This vintage ad depicts woman and baby.
