powder blue  In near mint condition and including the original box and instructions (in French), this fun advertising piece was evidently a giveaway at a party for Courvoisier Cognac. Each die has a 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King and "Courvoisier Gala" for playing poker. The dice and paper instruction sheet sit in a red box that slides into a separate red sleeve. Everything is in excellent, near mint condition; the instruction sheet has been folded and has a small tear on one edge; the red box and sleeve are very clean and bright with the slightest of wear on the corners of the sleeve; the dice are bright and clean. There is no date but they appear to be old and are probably from the 1950s or '60s. The sleeve measures 3.75 inches long. Guaranteed old and original.

This baseball themed gambling board/trade stimulator appears to be from the 1940s. It's not actually a punchboard; instead, for a 5 cents you pulled a tab and uncovered your "hit." A strike out or foul ball received nothing but a single, double or triple received candy bars, and a home run received ten 5 cent candy bars. It has an excellent, colorful graphic of a batter, catcher and umpire. It's colorful and would look great framed. And it's in excellent, unused condition with just a bit of wear on the corners. Measures 7.25 x 10.25 inches; made by the Hamilton Manufacturing Company of Minneapolis. Guaranteed old and original.

Please see my other antique and collectible photographs, toys, advertising, Americana and ephemera.

Here's a wonderful early Buster Brown collectible, probably from around 1910. It's a ceramic/porcelain cup and saucer set with transfer images of Buster Brown, Tige the dog and a friend - and gold colored three and four leaf clover decoration. The cup measures almost 2.5 inches tall and the octagonal saucer measures just over 4 inches across. It is in excellent condition: no cracks, tiny chips limited to the bottom of the cup, firing residue on the bottom of the cup, almost complete transfers - very colorful and clean. The mark on the bottom of the saucer is blurry though it appears to read "(Unknown) Brown (Unknown) - Germany" in a circle surrounding three crowns. I've seen these before but not in this superb condition. Guaranteed old and original.

Bill Graham (1931 –, 1991) was an American impresario and rock concert promoter from the 1960s until his death.

One of the first concerts Graham promoted was in partnership with Chet Helms of the Family Dog organization and featured the Paul Butterfield Blues Band.

He was the manager of Jefferson Airplane during 1967 and 1968. His successes and popularity allowed him to become the top concert promoter in rock music. He operated the famous venues the Fillmore West and Winterland (both in San Francisco) and the Fillmore East (in New York City), where the best up-and-coming acts would come to play.

The posters offered here are from the concerts at Fillmore West and Winterland.  metal, 5 1/2" tall, missing bottom closure and there is a hole from when it was cast, see image.  This is a heavy duty plastic key chain from CASTROL GTX motor oil.
