What's New in the Collector's Showcase of Advertising?

Produced in 2003 by Seltzer Kaufmann of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, this 28 x 22 inch poster was part of the Southern Ford Dealership marketing program. A panorama of Ford engineering with inset picture of Henry Ford and his 1896 Quadricycle, a motorized first version of what was to follow. Featured are pictures of an 1908 Model T which put America on Wheels and was manufactured from 1904 until 1927, a 1932 Ford Coupe with its new V-8 engine, a 1948 F-1 Pickup which Took America to Work, a classic 1957 Thunderbird, and a 1964 Mustang. The 1965 Lotus, driven by Jim Clark, was the first Ford to win the Indianapolis 500 race and the 1986 Taurus was a sales phenomena for Ford, selling almost a quarter of a million autos the year it was introduced. The Ford Explorer and the F-150 Pickup, a collaboration between Ford and Harley Davidson, complete the 100 years theme. The poster is in very good condition with no rips or tears but there is a 3 inch crease that extends from the top to just above the hood of the Thunderbird photo, along with some minor scuffing along the bottom left side. For car enthusiasts, this is a terrific pictorial of some of the best in America’s automotive history. Vintage c.1960s information card (like what you find at rest stops) for Holiday Inn Memphis, TN southwest. 8 7/8 in. x 3 7/8 in.. Has a few creases, some stains, no other major problems. Great graphics! Nice addition to any motel collection.  Vintage c.1930s Sewing Circle needle book/case, undated, made in Japan, with gold eye needles. Has most of the needles, book itself is very fragile and has normal aging and damage (see photos). Very good graphics. Almost apart at the fold. Great for collecting or to use!  Vintage dated 1946, excellent graphics and color, advertising package envelope (no hairnet), for Regina Nylon Hair Net, litho in U.S.A.. 5 in. x 6 1/2 in.. Slight aging on the back, front is as good as it gets, no condition problems. Great for framing!  never opened, very good.

Glue/paper remnants at one margin at reverse, otherwise fine condition.  Nice Quantas water jug. Excellent condition.  This is a moder version of a Vintage Advertising Trading Card. From St Augustine, FL it advertises Scenic Cruises of the Waterfront and Matanzas Bay aboard the Victory II. Estimated date is WWII Era as it has a sericemans rate listed. In good condition it is 3 x 5 inches.
