These were taken in Western Pennsylvania around 1927. Very good plus condition.

This painting is by Corporal Henry C. Cassell, Jr., USMC. It is titled Christmas In Con Thien (Hill of Angels). It is framed and matted but at some point the matting got water stained at the bottom. There is no damage to the painting whatsoever. Underneath the picture is USMC Combat Art Collection. This piece is very well done and would be a wonderful addition to a Viet Nam or Military collection.

Owl foil art framed picture, this is beautiful the eyes seem to follow you around, signed C Hoss ©. Thank you for looking!

Bronze molten cast bust of Napoleon; Signed by artist Bruce Everly.  Frederick D. Ogden spent most of his working career in Chicago, Illinois. This nice vintage piece of art is in very collectible condition and this size Ogden print is more sought after than the very common 9" x 12" mountain and lake scene prints that are often seen.

This Painting is not a work by a major artists but rather a decorative paintings of interest to the average collector. (Hopefully that is me and you!)

The frame itself shows knicks on the edges and as you can see the white marks show chips in the frame However the GESSO seems intact. The frame is worth a lot in itself. Canvas appears to be 1/2" thick with the frame around 2" thick.

The corner in very tiny writing is the date and publisher I think but I can't read it. One the same size is listed for "SOLD" at auction for $302.

SHIPS FOR $40 if we overcharge you by more than $3 we will refund the difference. to you. We combine shipping when possible.

Art Paintings  I've had this for over 20 years. I first bought the hand painted paper and carved ivory or bone handled fan from a prominent estate in Atlanta, then I spent about $500 or more to have it professionally framed shadowbox style in which is was hand sewn onto a silk backing.

Museum quality. Fan dates to the early 1800s to 1840s, artist signed. Reverse of fan is painted too, but the predominant scene is what is showing.

Entire piece is about 28" by 21". Absolutely superb. Serious inquiries only. I have one other amazing fan in mother of pearl, also framed in this manner, not yet listed. I'm downsizing or I would never consider selling.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WILL BE PROFESSIONALLY PACKED AND SHIPPED, QUOTE WILL BE GIVEN UPON SALE AND SHOULD BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT WHEN BUYING. I AM ESTIMATING THAT THIS WILL BE AT LEAST $75 TO $150 TO SHIP DEPENDING ON LOCATION. I AM IN 30030 ZIP CODE.

Apprx 22 1/4" by 35", depicted is a vibrantly hued art nouveau 1898 Alfonse Mucha woman with a bear rug and head by her. It's entitled "La Dame l'ours" and was printed by Athena reproductions in England around the late 1960s-early 1970s.

Very good condition, minimal edge wear, bright graphics, amazing colors, high quality.  From my own collection, apprx. 21 1/4" by 28". By Portal publications for Sandyval graphics circa late 1960s-early 1970s.

Bright vibrant graphic. authentic vintage, about 40 years old, very good condition with minimal edge wear. very worth the effort to frame it...poster frames can be bought at Target for under $20 or so.  Apprx 14" by 32", signed 1967, expected darkening in the white paper but otherwise in very good condition, a few small thumbtac holes on the edges. Would be nice framed. Gorgeous bright fish scales and peacock feathers graphics in vibrant colors. Trippy hippie dippy 1960s era advertising poster.

Peacock-feathered woman holding a box of Le Dejeuner biscuits.

A rich design--owing much to Mucha but surpassing it in flamboyance--for a brand of breakfast biscuits. It must be admitted that a costume that goes from fish scales to peacock feathers is a bit on the ostentatious side, but then isn't it far more likely to bring our attention to the poster than the modest cookie box? In addition to his Mucha-influenced graphics, Hingre also worked in metal and stone scuplture.

Approximately 35" by 14" 1967 Alphonse Mucha art nouveau inspired poster, authentic hippy hippie era vintage, small thumb tac marks on the edges, serving to validate its age.

Signed "MASTERS OF THE MASTERS IN LIMITED EDITIONS" and "1967 SANDYVAL GRAPHICS LTD. NEW YORK."

At the top is "MOET & CHANDON" with an incredibly lovely bejeweled 1890s woman holding a goblet or wine glass. Near the bottom:

GRAND CREMONT

IMPERIAL

It's in very good condition with expected darkening from what was probably a bright white background to a slightly tanned background. It's very attractive and would be well worth framing up and using it to decorate.

Original painting signed by Chincoteague Island, Virginia artist Jan Eichfeld. Chincoteague Island is well known as the home of the feral Chincoteague ponies.

"For over 80 years, on the last consecutive Wednesday and Thursday in July, Pony Penning is held on Chincoteague. The herds on Assateague are rounded up, and on Wednesday of Pony Penning week the ponies swim from Assateague to Chincoteague. The ponies are held in a pen at the carnival grounds on Chincoteague until they swim back on Friday morning. On Thursday, an auction of most of the foals is held with a few kept as future breeding stock. The proceeds of the auction are used to care for the feral ponies and finance Chincoteague’s fire department. A second roundup is held in the fall for a vet check, an informal sale of the foals born after Pony Penning, and the foals sold in July that were too young to be weaned are picked up by their owners."

Signed limited Robert E. Binks print. No. 499 of 1100. Professionaly double matted with glass.

Dimensions with frame:

38 1/2 inches tall by 29 inches high.

Item being used to raise funds for our senior pastor's surgery.  Purchased at an open air flea market while in Europe, this pre WWII hand drawn pastel drawing is signed by the artist and is entitled "Papa" and dated 1939. It's crudely matted and framed in a natural wood frame and measures about 10 3/4" by 8 3/8".

The subject of this piece is a man in profile. He appears to be wearing a military uniform with cap and he looks to the right and has a short beard and mustache. He's drawn in muted tones of brown and beige.

In good condition, the piece can be enjoyed as it is, however, a professional mat and framing would be ideal. Sure to be an excellent addition to any collection of painted portraits and original artwork.  Set of 2, red cardinal and a sea green angelfish, both in original package, cellophane peeling. Miller Studios, Chicago. Both 3 1/2". Very good  From a local estate collection comes this incredible ORIGINAL charcoal drawing or painting by Freda Reiter. It's professionally framed and nicely double matted and signed by the listed and quite famous artist from 1966. The actual artwork measures about 21 3/4" by 13 7/8", and it's framed in a 26 1/2" by 19" frame.

Entitled "KOREAN GIRL", on the back is an article dated 1972 and a small cutout that says the piece appraised for $1500 over 30 years ago. I've been told by reliable authorities on Ms. Reiter that this piece would be worth $2500 to $5000 or more in the current market.

FREDA REITER

"Freda Leibovitz Reiter was born in 1919 and died in 1986. She was originally from Philadelphia, PA, and at a very early age, her artisitc ability was quite evident. She had a reputation as a fine artist from very early on. Freda had an identical twin sister, Ida, who was also an artist.

During World War II, she went to Mexico City, where she studied under Diego Rivera. When she returned, Freda began drawing posters and sketching portraits of soldiers for the USO. Also that year, in 1943, Freda met her future husband, Frank Reiter, a dentist from New Jersey. Frank and Frieda married and had three children, and Frieda continued to carry her watercolors and sketchpad while travelling. She drew landmarks and people, and also watched TV, using her photographic memory to sketch what she saw.

In the 1960s, Ms. Reiter wanted to become a TV sketch artist. so she went to New York and was hired to work in the graphics department at ABC-TV. She went on to become one of the most noted courtroom artists of all time, being known for her work on the Watergate trial, to name one of many of her noted assignments.

After several years of battling her cancer, Freda Reiter succumbed to cancer in 1986. Her art continues to be appreciated the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery as well as in private collections.

I believe this piece is an important work by Freda Reiter as it was done during the period preceding her work at ABC. After 1966, she focused primarily on Courtroom sketches, so this may have been from one of her last trips she was able to make before that job.

In excellent condition, the piece is free of damage or repair and is ready to display. The frame shows some wear from the years but can easily be replaced or touched up if desired. If you like original artwork and the incredible art of Freda Reiter, this is a piece not to be missed!

ORIGINAL CHARCOAL KOREAN GIRL PAINTING F $750.00

Painting apprx 6" by 4" in a 8" by 9 1/2" plaster and wood frame.

While frame has some damage to the plaster, the painting is in very good condition.

Lovely! Depicted is a man smoking a pipe and wearing an interesting feathered hat. His mustache and costume reminds me of the Three Muskateers.

From my own collection, this dates to the mid to late 1800s. Good condition.

Apprx 10" by 8" including the hand made inlaid frame. Looks to be of Persian origin.

Hand painted on an ivory colored material. Lovely detail, signed by the artist.

Frame has thousands of tiny mosaic inlay pieces. As illustrated, frame is missing pieces.

Still quite lovely. I had it secured in the frame at a local frame shop, but otherwise left it original.

Looks to date to the early to mid 1900s. From my own collection.  Apprx 6.5" by 9" handmade wooden and plaster frame, oval opening for the lovely sepiatone photo print.

This is "Cupid Asleep" and is an authentic non-reproduction print from 1897. This is the sought after version by M.B. Parkinson.

The art nouveau styled frame is as lovely as the print. A lovely raised plaster border adorns the bottom and part of the left side; some of the plaster is gone, but it only serves to add to its character and authenticity in my opinion.

Other than a little cleaning up, this is ready to hang at your place directly from mine!  Charley Harper, considered to be a master of Mid-Century Modernism, lived from 1922 to 2007. Todd Oldham considered Harper to be a "great undersung artist, one of the top 10 Mid-Century designers".

Charley Harper handmade his original silkscreen prints, showing his unique style and humor.

I purchased these from the original owner nearly 20 years ago. Though I had bought them initially to sell, I fell in love with them and hung them up in my shop, marking them SOLD...to ME! They appear to be in their original stained wood frames and while the frames have some wear on them, the prints appear to be in very good condition.

These are from his fresh and saltwater fish collection. They date to the 1950s. Framed and matted, they measure about 23" by 19" each. The silk screen prints, not including the matting, are about 13" by 9" each.

Each one of these are signed by Charley Harper "C. Harper".

I kept these because I loved them and knew that they were special. I had no idea that they were by Charley Harper or that they had monetary value. I am only selling them because I am downsizing and in school.

The fish on the left is a Crappie. I am unsure of the other one and welcome any information you may care to share on these.

If you decide to purchase this pair, shipping will be determined based on your address. Buyer pays for professional packing, shipping and insurance by the UPS store. Once an address is provided, I will provide you with a shipping quote.

These sell unframed at galleries for $400 to $500 and more each.

These are NOT modern posters or reproductions. They are the real deal. This past summer, I began getting a bit curious about these and upon some research I discovered that days before, Charley Harper had died after fighting pneumonia. Charley Harper was a very special artist who will be remembered for his great talent, his whimisical nature, and for being a genuinely special individual from every account I could find.

My brother bought this from Bertha herself on the streets of New York City about 15 years ago. It is an original oil painting apprx 8" by 10". It is Bertha's common theme of the Statue of Liberty. It's framed in a little painted white wooden frame.

The little folk art or outsider art painting is a sought after and desirable original. In the style of Howard Finster, this is a lovely colorful piece sure to be a treasure to the serious collector.

This is all original, just as Bertha made it. Hard to find, Ms. Halozan's pieces have continued to appreciate in value.

From the internet on Bertha:Born in Austria, Bertha Halozan emigrated to the United States in 1956. She worked in hospitals, but also pursued a career as a singer. She eventually gave up her career as a singer because "I got a lot of publicity but very little money". She began painting in 1978 during her rehabilitation following a stroke. Bertha generally painted the same subject - "a pigtailed, blue-eyed Statue of Liberty, surrounded by the busy activities of daily life in New York" usually including the Goodyear blimp and a Mets baseball player, John Franco, and a helicopter, and often showing red tile roof houses from an Austrian village in the background. For several years, she sold her paintings on a Manhattan street corner near the building in which she lived.

The reverse sides of her paintings pay homage to Bertha's past, with pasted and taped photocopies of old newspaper clippings dealing with various recitals she has given, including one at Carnegie Hall.  Antique double mourning tribute double wax floral memorial in huge wood framed shadow box.

Circa 1870 this incredible funeral remembrance is in amazing state of preservation.

Fabulous sculpted Wax Flowers including Roses, Stephanotis, Orange Blossom and Carnations.
