....A wonderful original oil painting on hardboard by the artist Jacki Lee Simon titled 'sognante'. In Italian, sognante means dreaming, and Ms. Simon's delicate touch has provided us with an absolutely perfect depiction of a little girl as she dreams of what she will someday be. The girl could be anyone's child, but the dream belongs to every little girl. Signed by the artist and nicely framed in dark, redish toned oak and accented with an inserted banding of cream to highlight the painting, this is one of the most captivating, memory stirring paintings you will ever have the opportunity to own. Size is roughly 12 x 16 not counting the frame.  This is a fabulous Stow Wengenroth pencil-signed Lithograph from February 1964 of Old Harbor in Rockport, Massachusetts. This is one of 35 in the limited edition. The unframed dimensions are 9.25 x 13.75 inches. The framed dimensions are 22.5 x 16 inches. The weight is four pounds before packaging. It is in superb condition and has been framed properly and ready to hang with the rest of your Wengenroth collection. A National Academy of Design artist, Mr. Wengenroth's works are exhibited at the Academy and the Smithsonian, as well as other fine venues.  I think this painting is beautiful, but for a change, here is the write up from the back of the frame. 'Barbara Le Bey is an artist whose oil paintings of florals, gardens, landscapes and children reveal the beauty of the South in her own impressionistic style. While she makes no attempt to replicate the past, her work is reminiscent of the American impressionists, yet her paintings depict our own time and place with breathtaking color.' Large, professionally framed painting . 30 x 24, in wonderful condition.  Here is a lovely oil painting on canvas by the artist Roth called simply, Bouquet of Mums. The painting is not frames and measures 18 x 24 and is a very nicely done original work of art from the mid 1990's. This is a painting that begs to be framed and shown off. Well-done M. Roth

This lovely original oil painting on art board reminds me of Italy at harvest time. The bounty of fruits are done with such a delicate realistic touch one could easily imagine just reaching out to taste a grape or a ripe, juicy peach. Here is yet another fine example of this young woman's talent as an artist.  Here is a very boldly colorful modernistic vision of a springtime bed of flowers. This painting may be small in size, measuring 12 by 24 inches, but it captures the attention of anyone who has ever seen it and I think the gorgeous blend of rich colors and deep textures are the reason why.  The simplicity of an image is often the very reason for it's beauty. That is what I believe Jacki has achieved with this original oil painting she did from apples harvested by her own hands. The old cider jug and the cracked stucco wall of an ancient Pennsylvania farmhouse add the finishing touch to this Folk Art vision of simple pleasures. Hand signed and framed, this piece measures 14 x 18 in total.  The third in our collection of original oil paintings on art board by Marco is the smallest, yet perhaps the most striking and visionary of the trio. The painting is hand signed by Marco in 1989. The frame will go with the artwork, but the work itself is all we chose to show. The reason? The painting speaks for itself in as many images and languages as any I have ever seen. Out of nowhere a face, a shadow, some graphic illusion appears then is gone. The painting never changes, yet somehow it is in a state of constant change. City Beyond a River is a Masterpiece of Modern art. Actual painting size is 12 by 18

Our second of three hand signed original oil on art board paintings by the artist Marco is called, Between Dimensions. Some find it haunting. I like it because I believe such other dimensions do exist. All of these three Marco oils were painted in the late 1980's and all are done in marvelous colors and bold strokes. Just about the time you think you have noticed everything that could be noticed, these paintings have a way of proving you wrong. Another very interesting and colorful vision brought to life as only a handful of artists, like Marco, can do. This is oil on artist board and unframed measures 20 x 24 inches. Frame is included.  This unique original oil painting is one of three hand signed by the artist Marco. All were painted in the late 1980's and all are done in marvelous colors and bold strokes that at times seem to hide a completely different meaning from one's first impression of the painting. This one is called 'Icarus in Pennsylvania ' and while some see his image at once,it may take much longer before others see him. A very interesting and colorful vision brought to life as only a handful of artists , like Marco, can do. This is oil on artist board and unframed measures 24 x 30 inches. Frame is included.  You can tell by the look on his face and the ball at his paw, this lovely young daschund is ready to play. If you have one or more of these beautiful dogs, then you know they are never to tired to chase a ball and never to small to defend their master or mistress to the very last. Beautifully detailed and so real the little hound looks like he could step right out of the painting and into your room. Unframed oil on art board, this paint measures 12 x 16 and is in wonderful condition.  This talented young painter who signs his work simply, Joey S, offer for sale this lovely Oil Painting titled summertime. It is hard for a flat screen showing a duplicated picture of a flat, digital photo to truly capture the depth or the subtle colors and textures one finds when looking directly into the painting itself. The fruit, red ripe, crisp apples makes me want to eat one every time I see this still life. His choice of background coloring is as complex as it is beautiful. I love toy hear what you think of this piece. To me it is a perfect image, the likes of which one would find hanging on the wall as you enter a huge country kitchen that has been owned by the same family since the times when our nation was fresh and new and filled with the glory and beauty of a perfect summer. Tea with cherry turnovers is the second painting to a pair of lovely, hand signed oil on board originals by Jacki Simon. To me, this lovely piece is full of memories of my own grand mother, just as it came to be through Jacki's memories of grandma Netti. Netti was the most incredible cook, but above all her many dishes, none were quite as heavenly as her cherry turnovers. This painting shows one of her favorite teacups and of course, those magnificent pastries. Framed in the same color and style of solid wood and self-bordered, the work itself measures 12 x 16 and in the frame is 16 x 24. Please take a moment to view the mate to this fine piece. It is listed here as well and is called Netti's egg bowl  Here is a simple yet strikingly beautiful oil painting which may well bring back memories of special times and dear loved ones. This painting was done in oil on art board and beautifully framed to match another similar work listed in this same catagory called Tea and cherry turnovers. This lovely piece features a lovely bowl that had long been used for collecting the farm fresh brown eggs it contains. The painting itself measures 12 x 16 and is mounted in a lovely, self boarder frame made of solid wood. Memories make the best pictures, I think.  This is a wonderful signed and numbered print. It is number 603/750. It is a hidden animal collage styled print. It is bright clean and very beautiful. Every time I look at it I find another animal hidden in the mix. Framed and ready to hang. I am not certain I have the artist name correctly spelled. Measures 21 1/2" by 18 1/4".  Beautiful professional oil on canvas painting of an Old Country Mill House by a Lake. Featured for your enjoyment is a miniature oil painting signed by Edna Lewis. The back is original and intact. It has a foil tag from the Edna Lewis Studios in Baltimore Maryland. Also a tag stating it is an original in oil. From what I have found she is know for her silhouettes on glass. This may be an earlier work of hers. It is in the original wood and gesso frame which is completely gilded in gold. Might need a cleaning, the oil that is. Excellent condition. Measures 6 1/2" tall by 5 3/4" wide. Perfect for that little spot. Free Shipping within the United States.  This is an original framed oil painting on board by Otto Paul Herbig, a listed German California artist in the 1920s (my grandfather) as a way to clean his brushes at the end of the day painting the backgrounds for all the dioramas at the Museum of Natural History in San Francisco, California. He is a Listed artist in Davenports. The frame was added in the last 20 years and is a vintage gesso swirl with gold highlights and some show of age and paint loss on back. The framed work measures 15 inches by 13 inches and the board measures 11 inches by 10 inches. The painting depicts a yacht coming across a marine vessel. He liked painting water scenes. I'd like to keep it but am downsizing. It is very evocative.
