A young lady in front of sailing ships, obviously calling. Ornate Art Nouveau – Art Deco border with floral motive. The postcard has been used in Hungary in 1920. Fine condition.  Art Deco classic V style salt & pepper set that has a wonderful swirled luster effect that is hard to capture on film. The color is up for debate as no one can agree on what color they are other then some see a light sea foam green, and some a light turquoise. They are in very good condition with no nick, chips or cracks. The gold does have some scratches but are very hard to see due to the high reflective ness. "Buy War Bonds". Early scarcer lithographed postcard for promoting Austrian War bonds. The artist of this litho was Rauch (artist signed). The card shows a herald with a sword, beating a drum. Issued by the Wiener Bank Verein. Traces from gluing at upper margin at back, otherwise very clean, no creasing, no tears.  1919/1920: Art Nouveau style Krampus card from Austria. "What the Krampus will bring to you!" Minor crease at upper left corner otherwise fine condition. Edited by Strehschneider in Graz, printed by Wagner in Innsbruck  Very decorative lithographe card by the Swiss Artist Maurice Mathey. It commemorates the ballte at Morgarten when the Swiss provinces Waldstätten, Uri, Schwyz and Untergarten won a battle against the Austrian knights of Leopolds von Österreich, the brother of Friedrich. Fine condition, mint.  At the turn of the century Asian art was very fashionable in Europe and thus some printing houses used to produce either for Asia or printed "in the style of" for Europe. This Postcard is a lithograph and it has been used in Austria in 1901. Neat writing, fine condition.

This is a Fabulous Pair of Deco metal Bookends. They are a pair of mature and determinded Rams. Each Ram stands 6" tall and is 6 1/2" across. The metal is common of the times with an antiqued copper finish. My best guess is the 1930s. Surprisingly good finish still. Dynamic Deco Design. You will love them.  This Pea Green Boomerang shaped Ashtray is a hit with any smoker. Good color, nice size. 13" long and 8" wide. Perfect on any 50s coffee table. Mark USA  This is a FRANKOMA piece. It is a beautiful Terracotta figure glazed in a rich Ivory glaze. The figure is a DECO styled nude Dancing Lady. It holds two taper candles. It stands 11 ¾” tall and is 8” across. Number GS51 and Signed (looks like) Gerald Smith.  The sale is for a 1920's art deco lidded and divided bowl with a wonderful design. I have a matching art deco tray with an etched Heisey glass insert currently listed and it is spectacular. It is in superb condition and it measures almost 12.5" by 9.5". A smaller version of the art deco design is repeated on the outside and inside of the lid. It is marked (impressed) on the bottom: Apollo E.P.N.S.
