Vintage 1930's Illustration Party Men Smoking by Howard K Elcock, from a Pictorial Review Magazine, size is 14 by 11 inches  From my own collection, circa early to mid 1900s, all handmade of organic materials like bone and semi precious gemstones, about 6.5" by 4" and 1.5" high. Wonderful workmanship, a piece of art. Inlay design looks like little stars, star of David type.

Even the bottom and inside of the box is beautiful. Appears to be from the mid east, like Persia (Iraq). Near mint condition with only a small slim piece missing at the edge on the underside. Sold as found, never offered before.  Vintage Art Deco Ad Tre-Jur Face Powder Ladies Home Journal 1925, good condition, size is 14 by 10 1/2 inches  Vintage Art Deco Ad Armstrong's Linoleum 1927 Beautiful Flooring, good condition, size is 14 by 10 1/2 inches

Vintage Art Deco Women's Fashion Ad Pictorial Review 1928,good condition, size 13 by10 1/2 inches, two sides one page,   Early 1900s, Edwardian or art deco era, figural lady's shoe in yellow celluloid sitting on a green marbelized celluloid lid, approx 4 3/4" wide and 3 1/8" tall, 2 1/4" deep. Little box buffer kit opens up to reveal a shoe buffer.

Complete and intact and original! Soiling and age as would be expected, no damage or repair, rare and wonderful, excellent condition. From my private collection, never offered for sale in over 20 years.  Amazing authentic art deco period piece, circa 1920s or so, demure art deco flapper era nude woman, approx. 9 1/2" tall including its 3/4" tall black marble base. From my private collection, I purchased this over 20 years ago. It has NEVER been for sale since nor seen online before now!

Appears to be cast iron, very nice pose, unmarked, bolted onto a marble base, bolt is old and shows a little rust from age...a good sign that indicates to me that it is more than likely completely original.

Statue is in superb vintage condition, no damage or repair.  Nearly 6" tall and a tad over 4" at its widest point, circa early 1920s, superb authentic spelter and green painted miniature sculptural figure of a nude woman, flapper era, art deco to the max.

This is from MY collection. I bought it at an estate auction 21 years ago. It was quite pricey even then. It is an ashtray, though I have never used it as such. Signed M. Le Verrier on the bottom, depicted is a nude who appears cold as she has her arms crossed over her chest as she leans over.

Amazing detail, superb vintage condition, original, no damage or repair.

I found the following information about this piece:

Max Le Verrier was the name of a very famous 120s foundry, known for its amazing statues. The figures they made are known to have an elegance of movement, providing a moment which seems frozen in time. Max le Verrier is one of the most sought after names because of the fine detailing, making it a superb representative of the art deco movement.

Though they are best known for his chryselephantine figures, Max also made bronzes group figurals, One them made by the foundry is the classical theme of Diana the Huntress or his famous Amazonian Diana with shield and spear.

AUTHENTIC ART DECO CAST IRON NUDE WOMAN $245.00

ANTIQUE ART DECO MAX le VERRIER NUDE WOM $595.00

Purchased in an open air market in Paris France many years ago, measures about 9" tall and 8.25" wide, white marble base and a round pink marble body, circa early to mid 1900s, screaming art deco geometric lines. Quite pretty.

Sold as found, NOT working, never tried to get it fixed, I have only used it as display. Base is lose, has minimal nicks at the bottom but nothing detracting. At the border of the pink marble, below the "4" and "5" and the "8" and "7" are little white places where something may have originally been attached. I am unsure of what.

Sold as found, as a display only, not a working clock. I know it can either be fixed or a quartz movement be installed if you want it as a time piece.

Priced accordingly, these kinds of clocks sell for $250-$400 at stores, even in non-working condition.   Build them as you like, as Propp Company suggests! Indoor, outdoor decorative lighting outfit with Mazda Lamps.

Best for display, not intended for use.  Circa 1930s-40s, art deco retro electric Seth Thomas clock, superb streamlined design, clear numbers and face, heavy construction, convex glass, marked YUKON-2E on the back, measures about 6" by 5", works but the cord is old and replacement is recommended. Not expensive but I am selling it AS FOUND, AS IS, and priced accordingly. Very good condition aesthetically with minimal wear, collectible condition.

I have TWO of these in nearly identical condition from the same Atlanta estate.  I think this is Army or Air Force, maybe Army Air Corps? Not sure...Frame has a hammered brass look, free standing, approx. 8" by 10", military insignia at the top, warm unpolished patina, sold as found, original and in very good vintage condition.

Approx 10" by 10" base, actual frame is about 9" by 7". Wooden frame, circa 1920s or so, painted in a silver finish, all original, could use some tightening up but is in good vintage condition. Sold as found, perfect for use in home to put a painting, print or photograph. From my own private collection.  Selling these as an AS IS, AS FOUND lot. Priced accordingly, final sale. These all are Victorian to Edwardian era, possibly art deco even. All fans are in condition to use as a display only or to recondition. They are real bone and silk and quite lovely.

Largest fan is about 13" long, and they vary to about 10", 8", and 7" long. Hopefully pictures tell the story. These would be great for someone who either wants to use them to restore or to put in a shadowbox.   Art deco era, circa 1920s-30s, dapper young man figural porcelain figurine, about 5" tall, black "MADE IN JAPAN" stamp on bottom, colorful, well dressed man, hand painted, he sits on a little brick wall, arms crossed, waiting.

Quaint, lovely, excellent vintage condition! No cracks, hairlines, damage, or repair.  Pair of art deco bookends, circa 1930s-40s, made of Burwood, a composition made to look like wood, measures about 6.5" high and 4" wide each. Some damage at the tops and base, still looks lovely as they are, raised design of art deco horned animals, gazelle maybe? Antelope?

Priced accordingly and sold as found.

Scarce Marie Louise Sarre sculpture from the beginning of last century. Artist signed ML which refers to Marie Louise Sarre.

Size: 8,5 x 6,5 x 3 inches.

The sculpture is in very fine condition with no faults.

Marie-Louise Sarre lived in Berlin before World War II. Her friends called her "Puppi," meaning "small doll" in German.

She didn’t have much of a doll when she became active in the German resistance against Hitler. In the summer of 1944 she was involved in a scheme to secure the support of none other than Heinrich Himmler in a plan to assassinate Hitler.

After the failed coup attempt of July 20, 1944, she and many others were arrested and imprisoned by the Gestapo. She managed to escape and fled to Ascona, Switzerland, where she lived until her death at age 95, in 1999.

Her father was Friedrich Sarre, the first director of the Department of Islamic Art at the Kaiser Friedrich Museum (today’s Bode Museum) in Berlin. Her maternal grandfather was Carl Humann, the discoverer and excavator of the Pergamum Altar in Turkey in the 1880s.

Her father also was member of The Solf Circle (German: Solf-Kreis) which was an informal gathering of German intellectuals involved in the resistance against Nazi Germany. Most members were arrested and executed after attending a tea party held near Heidelberg on September 10, 1943, at the residence of Elisabeth von Thadden. The group's downfall also ultimately led to the demise of the Abwehr in February 1944.

The sculpture comes from the famous Dr. Heihs estate, inventory number 516 under the artist signature.

ANTIQUE ART DECO CZECH LUSTRE WARE CANDY $15.00

This appears to be from the 1920s or 30s and is a fun piece that is hard to describe. I actually bought this bird hangie thingie (can you think of a better name for it?) out of a collection that was a warehouse find about 15 years ago. I have several, all identical, each measuring about 3 1/4" long not including an additional 4" for the string and suction cup.

The bird appears to be some sort of tropical species like a Cockatiel or some sort of Parrot. It is very lightweight and hollow, typical of celluloid, and it has blue and pink feathers and a pink beak. The string is covered by long celluloid or plastic cylinders and a cup is at the end.

This whimsical feathered friend is in excellent condition and free of any dings, dents, cracks, or other damage or repair. The rubber suction cup is old, so I don't know if it would actually work, but the nicely detailed piece would be a great addition to any bird or celluloid collection!  Decotique favorite panoramic photo, actors posing on stage, uniformed man in black face, elegant ladies, gentlemen dress, exquisitely detailed.  Framed Color Lithograph, Angelic Children in Art Deco Dress, Junior Department Promotion Certificate, Reformed Church, Original Signatures, dated October 7, 1928.  Antique photo of lovely woman posing with hat, back reads Anna Fox, original reverse painted Art Deco frame, completely intact. Right out of Great Gatsby, Paper Moon!
