Made of high gloss pewter, the central design is a shield with a crest in the center and a magnificent headed mythical creature above that. On the right side of the shield are three large flowing oak leaves. On the left, there are two oak leaves with acorns.

This German company was established in 1885, as J. P. Kayser & Sohn, and made wonderful Art Nouveau pewter wares - this dates around c. 1910. It is in generally nice condition. There is minor wear to the surface, and minimal amounts of shallow pitting of the metal. A lovely display piece. (#T1768)

This two piece chamber stick was made by Kayserzinn - Germany, circa 1915. Classic designs of thistle leaves and flowers flow around the inside of the base - in low relief. The handle design is another thistle leaf with a small flower bud just near the bowl. Impressed oval mark of "Kayserzinn 4144" on back. This low gloss pewter piece would have held a candle, and used to carry the light around with you. There is quite a bit of light surface scratching in the bowl part. However, because the design is so intricate, these are nicely subdued. Measures 9 1/2" long x 5 1/2" in diameter. Three molded feet on the bottom. (#T1611)

Key Words: Art Nouveau, Liberty of London, Jugendstil, Secessionist

Another fabulous copper charger - this one was made by Craftsmen, of Laguna Beach, California, probably circa 1950. This huge piece measures 18" in diameter. The outside rim has heavily impressed designs of oval lozenge shapes and circles. The interior has the same circle shape, but this time it's pressed in, to mirror the rim.. Fingernail type indentations get smaller and closer as they approach the central design of a sunflower. The mark is on the back between the lozenge and circle pattern. The back has a built in hanger.

Minor surface wear and light scratching - but both are minimal. This has its original patina, and is in generally wonderful condition. Like the Rebajes copper charger, this also works well with Arts & Crafts Movement, Retro, and Deco styles.

Key Words: Art Nouveau, Liberty of London, Jugendstil, Secessionist

Great retro copper charger - made by Rebajes of New York City, circa 1940 - 1950. This huge piece measures 16" in diameter. The piece is enhanced by a classic leaf with curled stem, that mirrors the central triple circle on the charger. Pie crust crimped edges adorn the outside of the piece. The signature is just inside the edge on the front of the piece. The back has a built in hanger.

There is some light surface scratching, and one small area where the edge has been slightly bent. Although the piece in general does show wear - it displays beautifully. The patina is original and superb. Rebajes's pieces work well with Arts & Crafts Movement, Retro, and Deco styles.

These are fairly massive pieces of pewter made by Sergei Nekrassoff. The punch bowl is fabulous and measures just shy of 13" in diameter, and is 5" high. Hand hammered on all sides, this has his classic 4 ball with leaf design on the 4 openwork handles. The ladle is outstanding all on its own - measuring over 14" long, this has the matching design work on the handle. The underplate is also hand hammered and has his classic 4 ball with leaf design on the 4 openwork handles. This measures 16" in diameter, and the height is just over 2". Circa 1930.

The punch bowl has been used, and shows some interior discoloration and some minor scratches. The ladle has several very light rings (not pitting) where liquid remained. The underplate has been used, and shows some interior discoloration, minor scratches and minor bending. There is one strong crimp in the pewter flowing out of one of the open work designs. Pewter is one of the softer metals, and the bowl shows some wear because of being slightly out of round. Although obviously used, these pieces are still in very nice condition. Their size alone makes them a true collecting prize! (#T-1607)
