She made sporadic television appearances throughout the 1970s and 1980s and was nominated for an Emmy for the soap opera, Ryan's Hope in 1980.  Jane Russell : Attractive b/w portrait photograph with authentic dedication and autograph by Jane Russell. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. 8 in. x 10 in. ( 20 x 25.3 cm ) Some creasing at the upper right part..

Voluptuous sex symbol and star of Hollywood films, TV, and nightclubs, Jane Russell was the daughter of an actress. She worked as a receptionist and model, and studied theater at Max Reinhardt's Theatrical Workshop and with Maria Ouspenskaya.

She won the lead role in Howard Hughes' The Outlaw (1941). The film caused a storm of controversy due primarily to the amount of cleavage shown by Russell onscreen, and, after brief releases in 1941 and 1943, it was not officially released until 1950. The controversy brought her much publicity, often in the form of off-color, sophomoric jokes. However, she surpassed her mindless "bombshell " image and went on to perform with versatility in a number of films during the subsequent three decades, including comedies with Bob Hope and musicals with Marilyn Monroe.

She often played cynical, " tough broads " and starred in the Broadway musical Company in 1971. TV viewers will remember her for a series of bra commercials during the '70s.  Ginger Rogers: Authentic Autograph from 1991 on b/w photograph.

The Autograph comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Samuel George Sammy Davis, Jr. (1925 –1990) was an American entertainer. He was a dancer, singer, multi-instrumentalist (vibraphone, trumpet, and drums), impressionist, comedian, convert to Judaism, and Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor. He was a member of the 1960s Rat Pack, which was led by his old friend Frank Sinatra, and included fellow performers Dean Martin, Joey Bishop and Peter Lawford.

By age seven he had made his film debut in the Vitaphone short Rufus Jones for President (1933) opposite Ethel Waters. After army service during WWII, he was signed by Decca records in 1951 after a triumphant engagement at Ciro's nightclub in Hollywood.

By the mid-50s Davis' career was in full swing. In 1955 he made his feature film debut as Fletcher Henderson in The Benny Goodman Story. In Otto Preminger's 1959 lavish film version of Porgy and Bess, he used his lithe, wiry body, snake-like grace and insinuating, seductive drawl to create an almost definitive portrayal of the drug dealer, Sportin' Life. By the 1960s, as an off-again-on-again member of the swinging Rat Pack, he costarred with such cohorts as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Peter Lawford in a series of offhand larks such as Ocean's Eleven (1960), Sergeants Three (1962), Robin and the Seven Hoods (1964) and Salt and Pepper (1968) while also giving more serious dramatic performances in Anna Lucasta (1958) and A Man Called Adam (1966).

Calling himself a multi-minority figure (black, Jewish and handicapped), Davis overcame numerous hardships throughout his career.

When he died of throat cancer in 1990 Davis was remembered as a performer who helped break down the barriers of race and prejudice over the years and was a long-time supporter of the civil rights movement and humanitarian causes as well as a Renaissance man of show business.  Meryl Streep and Shirley MacLaine photograph as announcement for a movie, first time on show in Austria in 1992. Kerr frequently used any opportunity to discard her cool exterior. In the 1950 jungle adventure film King Solomon's Mines, shot on location in Africa with Stewart Granger and Richard Carlson, she impressed audiences with a sexuality and an emotional vulnerability that brought new dimensions to a male-oriented action film.

Kerr's most famous roles are probably as Anna Leonowens in the film version of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The King and I and opposite Cary Grant in An Affair to Remember. At the age of 46, she achieved the distinction of appearing as a Bond Girl in Casino Royale.

Virginia Mayo Autograph on 4 in. x 5 in. b/w photo, very fine condition.

The Autograph comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Virginia Mayo was a chorus dancer when she began her film career as a bit player in 1942. She was disturbingly convincing as Dana Andrews' faithless wife in Goldwyn's The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) and as James Cagney's sluttish gun moll in White Heat (1949).

In the late 1940s and early 1950s, Mayo was one of the most popular female stars at Warner Bros., appearing in musicals, melodramas and westerns. The Silver Chalice (1955) and as Cleopatra in the guilty pleasure The Story of Mankind (1957) immediately come to mind.

In the 1960s, Mayo turned to stage work on the touring-company and dinner-theatre circuit; more recently, she has been a frequent interview subject on TV documentaries dealing with the old Hollywood studio system.  Bob Geldof hand signed b/w photograph ( Photo credit: Karen Korn ).

In 1975 Geldof became the lead singer of the band The Boomtown Rats, a rock group closely linked with the punk movement. In the year of 1978, The Boomtown Rats had their first No. 1 single in the UK with "Rat Trap", which was the first New Wave chart-topper in that country. In 1979, the group shot to international fame with their second UK No. 1, "I Don't Like Mondays".This was equally successful, as well as controversial; Geldof wrote it in the aftermath of Brenda Ann Spencer's attempted massacre at an elementary school across the street from her house in San Diego, California, at the beginning of 1979. On the 31 March 2005, Geldof and Ure announced the Live 8 project, to raise awareness of issues that burden Africa, such as government debt, trade barriers, and AIDS issues. Geldof organised six concerts with U2, Elton John, Pink Floyd, The Who, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Duran, Brian Wilson, Crosby Stills & Nash, Bon Jovi, Linkin Park, Dave Matthews, Stevie Wonder, Neil Young, Bryan Adams, Deep Purple and many more. Before another actress named Doris Day became a renowned 1950s and '60s movie star, singer, and Rock Hudson-screen partner, the first Doris Day played a smattering of small roles in mostly B-movies. Born in 1920, this Day sang in nightclubs and did theatre before making her film debut opposite singing cowboy Roy Rogers in Republic Pictures' The Saga of Death Valley (1939). Over the next several years, Day also appeared in Thou Shalt Not Kill (1939), Village Barn Dance (1940), and the MGM Joan Crawford vehicle A Woman's Face (1941). After her last film, the Bob Hope espionage tale They Got Me Covered (1943), Day left the movies to pursue a career as one of the first female aerial daredevils.

Joan Chandos Báez (born January 9, 1941) is an American folk singer and songwriter known for her distinctive vocal style as well as her outspoken activism and political views. Her father Albert Baez, a physicist, refused lucrative defense industry jobs, probably influencing Joan's political activism in the American and international civil rights and anti-war movements of the 1960s to the present. Baez' true professional career began at the 1959 Newport Folk Festival.

Baez was romantically linked to Bob Dylan in the early 1960s. She began augmenting her acoustic guitar on 1965s Farewell Angelina just after Bob Dylan began experimenting with folk-rock. Later in the decade, Baez experimented with poetry.

Baez toured with Bob Dylan in 1964 and 1965 and during his 1975 and 1976 Rolling Thunder Revue tours, and, abortively, in Europe in 1984. At one time she was romantically linked to Steve Jobs.

Cristy Lane (born Eleanor Johnston in 1940 in Peoria) is a Country music and Gospel music singer. She is best known for her Country hit "One Day At a Time", which rose to #1 on the Hot Country Songs chart in 1980.

During the Vietnam War period she sang for U.S. servicemen at officers' clubs and similar venues for a fee of $500 for each performance. In all, Lane performed in 120 shows during 4 90-day tour.

She entertained over 100,000 troops, with some estimates as high as 300,000. The natural dangers of singing in a war zone found Cristy in serious jeopardy on more than one occasion and in one traumatic episode a helicopter in which she was riding crashed into a combat zone. Suffering from injuries, exhaustion, and stress, Lane became seriously ill, both mentally and physically. By 1970 she had attempted suicide on two separate occasions.

She moved to Nashville and signed with Capitol Records briefly before recording for her husband's private studio, LS Records, in the late 1970s. In 1977 she released a debut single, "Trying to Forget About You." This single charted, as well as a follow-up release, "Sweet Deceiver." That fall, she released a single track, "Let Me Down Easy," which was picked as the background on a national news story about a balloon festival. "Let Me Down Easy" peaked at number seven, as did "Penny Arcade," released in 1978. She also had a hit with the Christmas song "Shake Me, I Rattle" in early 1978.

At the Academy of Country Music awards ceremony in 1979, Lane was named New Vocalist of the Year - a contract with United Artists (UA) ensued.  Carlos Santana: Authentic signature, signed by hand.

He became famous in the late 1960s and early 1970s with his band, the Santana Blues Band, going mostly under the title "Santana," which created a highly successful blend of salsa, rock, blues, and jazz fusion. Their sound featured his often high-pitched and clean guitar lines set against Latin American instrumentation such as timbales and congas. Santana continued to work in these forms over the following decades, and experienced a sudden resurgence of popularity and critical acclaim in the late 1990s.

Over his career he has sold an estimated 80 million albums worldwide.

Zahrah Leander, authentic early autograph on Ross photo.

Size: 3,5 x 5,5 inches, fine condition.

The Autograph comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Born in Sweden, she establish herself on the Viennese stage by 1935. UFA studios in Berlin had lost Marlene Dietrich to Hollywood in 1930, and had since then been seeking a suitable replacement. Zarah Leander's looks combined the sultry sensuality of Dietrich with the Nordic iciness of Greta Garbo.

These aspects of Leander's talent proved enough to convince UFA to sign Leander as a contract player in 1936. She first hit it big with movie audiences in two films directed by Detlef Sierck (later known by his Hollywood name of Douglas Sirk) Zu neuen Ufern (1937) and La Habanera (1937).

While Sirk fled Nazi Germany not long after La Habanera was completed, this formula was able to sustain Leander's unchallenged popularity in Germany for her next nine features....

In 1943, Leander received a communiqué from Hitler's minister of propaganda, Joseph Goebbels. Under the terms of Leander's 1936 contract, her salary as a UFA contract player was deposited directly into her Swedish bank account. Goebbels informed Leander that her contract was to be re-negotiated into Deutschmarks and that the time had arrived for her to become a German citizen. In return, Goebbels offered Leander property in East Prussia, but she would also have to surrender her Swedish-based businesses and property to the Reich. Her German home had already been destroyed by bombs, so Leander left for Stockholm, abruptly ending her career as the top operetta star in Nazi Germany...

She died at age 74 in 1981 in Sweden.
