English sterling silver Edwardian period manicure trio, hallmarked for Birmingham 1902. Maker’s mark: L & S. They each measure 12 cm long (4.3/4 inches). (NB. THE PHOTO SHOWS A LONG BUTTON HOOK , BUT THIS IS FOR SALE SEPARATELY ELSEWHERE IN THIS CATEGORY. THE ITEMS HERE FOR SALE ARE THE THREE SMALLER MANICURE ITEMS). Very pretty handles with foliate scrolls, in excellent condition. Good Sheffield steel rods for the operative ends. The nail file even has an indented ridge on the sides of the blade for doing the tops of your nails. The steel has a little dark bloom in places, but is in very good condition. Very attractive set from 1902.  This is a new condition 2.75" sea shell case, with secure closure, to use as a vanity cache box, jewelry holder, needlework case, etc. The large shells are banded by hand in solid brass. This is an excellent condition vintage 1950's/60's wooden jewelry box with hinged lid, beveled mirror and it has a marked "Toyo" music box which plays Somewhere My Love, I think that is the name. It is 8 1/2" wide X 5" tall X 6" deep and weighs 1 lb. 13 oz. It is lined in dark red velour and the whole box is gilded an antique gold with white trim on front and top. If you want to WOW your friends, just pull out this little number to file your nails. It is a bakelite handled tiny nail file measuring all of 2 5/8ths inches long. It is in Excellent condition with no markings.  This neat sample is from 1993 on its original card from Avon. The sample is fo C'est Moi eau de toilette. The tiny plastic stoppered glass bottle measures 2 inches high and is 7/8ths full of the cologne.  This creamy yellow celluloid dresser set consists of a lidded box, a shoe horn, a shoe button hook, a pair of nail scissors and a nail buffer. All pieces are in excellent condition but the shoe horn as lost its black detailing (it appears to have worn off from use). The box is lined with cranberry velvet to hold your special jewels and the neat nail buffer chamois looks almost unused. It is even under a celluloid cover to keep it clean. The box measures 1 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches deep by 4 3/4 inches long. The shoe horn measures 8 1/8 inches long. The button hook is 8 inches long. The scissors are 5 inches long and the nail buffer is 6 inches long. None of the pieces are marked.  Elizabeth Taylor's Passion, Eau de Toilette Spray. This is from an estate sale. EXCELLENT CONDITION.  Featured for your enjoyment is another wonderful item from Minnesota’s Attic. Thiw wonderful old jewelry box is called Lacquer Ware. It was very popular in the 50’s during the Koren War. These are general made of an excellent paper mache with a lacquer finish. Hard to tell on this one if it is paper mache or wood. Either way it has a pitch black lacquer finish with a hand painted oriental mountain scene. The inside is done in a pink corderoy type fabric. It has a hand painted mirror on the inside lid. Original clasp. One corner alnong the top does have lacquer missing. It is on the side and will not really be noticed, thin line of it. It measures 4 1/2" tall by 10 1/2" long and 6" deep.  Nice stand alone Gift for the Bath or to add to a basket of Handmade Soaps. Brand new and nicely packaged these loofah sponges have a long wooden handle and are great for exfoliation. This is a vintage 1975 Avon Bristol Blue opalescent glass 3 piece vanity bath set which includes the pedestal soap dish, cologne bottle w/stopper and very rare bath oil container that held a plastic inner bottle of Skin So Soft bath oil. Avon Bristol Blue glass is a translucent blue opaline glass as you see in the photo. The bath oil container is mint, measures 4 3/4" tall and is used as a water glass. The cologne bottle still has about 2 oz. of cologne. The soap dish is 2 1/4" tall; the cologne bottle, 4 3/4" tall, have slight wear to the gold gilding. The glass is perfect on all 3 pieces. The perfume spray bottle has most of the original foil label intact, which reads "Echt Kristall" which means "real crystal". It measures 3 1/4" high, 3 1/2" wide, and 1 3/4" deep. The jewelry tray is mint condition and is 3 3/4" long, 1 3/8" high, and 2 5/8" deep. The perfume sprayer is mint condition with only wear marks on the bottom, and age signs to the rubber ball, frayed tube covering and top of goldtone plated screw top. Priced accordingly. The relief scroll work has worn hand applied burnished gold highlights. This was made by the Ditheridge Glass Works for the famous Butler Brothers Department Store glassware catalog. It is 10 1/4" tall and weighs 13 ounces. The glass is thin and fragile with normal wear to the gilt trim. No chips, cracks, or flea bites. Satisfaction guaranteed. The thick walled heavy milk glass has a number embossed in the inside bottom "514" and that's the only mark. There are no cracks but there is a line of slight discoloration around the inner top edge that can be removed. Priced accordingly. I calculate and charge actual postage. Satisfaction guaranteed. The brushes are marked REAL EBONY and GERMANY, the leather case is marked J. Brennan. The dark bristled brush is stiffer than the lighter one. Case measures 8 1/2" x 5 3/8" when open, but folds in half to a slim 2 3/4" to neatly contain the brushes. The leather has come away from the side just a bit where the stitching is. Otherwise, this set is in excellent condition.  Fenton Hobnail Cologne Bottle with clear to milk glass coloring and some opalescence on the hobnails. Complete with stopper and cork. Normal manufacturing flaws for this piece but no chips or cracks. Made in the 30s and 40s by Fenton and then by Indiana Glass for Fenton. Measures 6" with stopper.
