There is a bit of wear to the red hairpin painted decoration, and the metal sides of the hairpin were originally gold plated which must have been very pretty, but most of the plating has worn off. This is an antique hatpin or hat pin with a fancy hand prong set rhinestone ball at the very top. The ball is made up of 7 rhinestone flower form clusters. The hatpin measures 8.5 inches long and was made in England in 1890-1910. The rhinestone ball drop is inch in diameter. A drop dead gorgeous and elegant antique English hat pin.  This is an antique hatpin or hat pin with half ball shape top of prong set chaton rhinestones mounted on a metal disc with metal finial attachment. The hatpin measures 10 inches long, the head is .75 inch deep by 1 inch in diameter and was made 1890-1910. The rhinestones are hand set into a soldered mesh framework that has discolored causing the rhinestones to look dark. There is one very minor dent in the mesh which can be seen in the photos. A lovely hatpin.  This is an antique art deco design hatpin dating to 1930-1940s with an enameled and gold plated metal stylized tulip shape top. The hatpin measures overall 5 inches long and the top is 2.15 inches long by 2 wide. There is also a small black glass faceted bead below the tulip. A wonderfully elegant art deco accent for your hat.  This is an antique stickpin, stick pin or lapel pin with a bezel set moonstone made in England in the 1910-1920s. This is a pretty hand made 10kt solid gold stick pin or lapel pin with a heart shape and an a 3 point round diamond set in a flower in the center of the heart. The pin is 2.5 inches long overall, the head is .5 inch high by .5 inch wide and is stamped 10kt. The stickpin or stick pin was made 1920-1930s and weighs .8 grams of gold without the stone. A lovely accent pin.  This is a pretty hand made 10kt solid gold stick pin or lapel pin with a heart shape and an oval synthetic ruby weighing 1.25 carats. The pin is 2.5 inches long overall, the head is .5 inch high by .5 inch wide and oval faceted bezel set ruby is 7mm by 5mm. The pin is unmarked but was tested to guarantees 10kt gold. The stickpin or stick pin was made 1930-1940s and weighs 1.2 grams of gold without the stone. A lovely accent pin.  This is a large antique hatpin or hat pin with a black bakelite finial shaped like a square with 2 gold tone metal chain inset decorations. The hatpin measures 7 inches long, the top is 1 inch square and the hatpin was made 1890-1900s and is quite possible a mourning outfit hatpin. The hatpin is in near excellent condition and is exceptionally long. A wonderful Victorian find.  This is an antique hatpin or hat pin with a black sequin or sequined ball at the top. The hatpin measures 4 inches long and was made 1890-1910 and may be a mourning hatpin, worn during the year long Victorian mourning period. The sequined ball is slightly soft if you squeeze it and may be filled with horsehair which was a common practice during that period and measures is 1.5 inches in diameter. A lovely hatpin.

A lovely hatpin.  Lidded Jar, Tuxedo Duck, Takahashi. this jar is 5 & 4/8" tall. He is dressed in a tuxedo with a red bow. The combination of colors i.e; yellow, red and black, increase the attractive coloring of the piece. It is in excellent condition, with a partial Takahashi label.  This vintage c.1890s Victorian black glass (jet) mourning hatpin is in excellent condition, minor wear from age and use. All designs on this wonderful piece are hand painted. The colors are rich and vibrant, and many of the designs are outlined in gold moriage. In gold cartouché, the Palace of Agriculture is displayed on the front of the holder. Just below it, a lone iris stands out among a bed of tall grasses, while a Japanese girl sits quietly nearby. On the back, a trio of lovely pink flowers with gold moriage trim, grace the top border. Below them, a scenic view of a pair of homes in the hills beside the ocean, and a flock of birds in the sky. The top of the holder is painted in the popular rust color, with a scatter of gold stars. There are 13 holes for hat pins. One large center hole, 4 small ones surrounding that, and 8 medium size ones around the edge. This lovely hat pin holder was produced by Masahiro Furuya Co in Yokohama, Japan. Size: 4 1/4 inches tall; 2 3/8 inches wide at the base. Circa: 1909. Condition: Excellent. --------------------------------------- A brief note of history: Masahiro Furuya was born in 1863, and came to Seattle, WA from Yokohama in 1890. He was an educated man, and he first worked as an apprentice tailor in a grocery store in St Louis. In 1892, he opened his own grocery store, and then in 1896, he opened a branch of his store in Yokohama. In 1900, he built the Furuya Building in Seattle to house the main office and retail outlet of the M. Furuya Company, which was originally an import-export firm. This allowed him to expand his inventory, and he also sold Japanese art there. Masahiro Furuya, for a time, was a successful and very influential business leader, and was once considered the pre-eminent Japanese businessman in the Pacific Northwest.

This is a very unusual pin. It is an old bronzed hat or stick pin with a oval white enamel background and what appears to be a medal red "X" insignia on the top. Do not know what the insignia represents. Great one to add to your collection.  Unusual hat pin using a large green glass or polished stone as a topper. It has a small drilled hole in the top like it was originally a necklace and changed to a hat or stick pin. It is a 3.25" long. The stone (glass) is 1" long and .5" wide.  1035 Interesting hat/stick pin with two attaching drooping glass balls. It seems to be missing the decorative end on one of the balls (not sure). This is a gorgeous Amethyst pin in a 10K gold setting (not marked, reviewed by jeweler). There is a white paste stone on top of the oval faceted amethyst.  This is a very unusual and interesting find. It is a 10k gold antiques stick pin with a 3/8" Indian Head Coin. The pin itself is 3" long with a gold cap on end. The front of the coin has an Indian Head with 13 stars. The back says "California Gold" and has the date of 1858 and a Wheat wreath engraved on it.  Plenty of sparkling rhinestones adorn this 3-tiered vintage hat pin. It is 4.25" long.  This is an absolutely gorgeous micro mosiac Victorian Hat Pin with a tremendous amount of detail. It is shaped like a flower with small flowers in the middle. It is unmarked but surely from Italy.
