This 24 page Dennis The Menace coloring book, (#1800-7) published by Watkins-Strathmore in 1962, is the "authorized edition", and features captioned pictures of Dennis, his mom and dad, and Mr. and Mrs. Wilson. 8 pages are colored neatly, whle the rest of the pages are uncolored. The cover is bright and appealing, although it does have some bends. S&H is an additional $4.50 within the continental U.S. International shipping is also available.   This SNOW WHITE and the Seven Dwarfs large format coloring book (11" x 14 3/4") mostly likely from the 1960s was published by Playmore, Inc. and prepared under the supervision of Helen Rudin. Each page has a large picture and caption underneath. All pages are uncolored, and are in nice condition. There is some wear to the cover, some creasing, bending, and a few small tears along the top & bottom edge. This cool children's coloring book was published by Artcraft/Saalfield in 1969. All the pictures inside are related to the Apollo moon launch. It is in excellent condition, with only 3 pages neatly colored. The orginal price tag is still affixed to the front cover (see photo). The back cover is identical to the front, but without the price tag. S&H is an additional $4.50 within the continental U.S. International shipping is also available.   This large format coloring book titled "Adventures of a Brownie" was copyright in 1941 by Lilja Books / Reuben H. Lilja & Co. From the Story-Teller's Paint Book Series, it is charmingly illustrated by Milo Winter - his name is on the bottom right hand corner of the front cover, but the book is so large I could not fit the whole image on my scanner. It is a combination coloring book/storybook. Each page has a large picture and descriptive text. All pages are uncolored, and are in nice condition. One page has a piece missing along the edge which is aproximately the size of a silver dollar, but it does not extend into the illustration. The pages have a bit of browning, more obvious along the edges, as does the inside front cover. There is some wear and chipping to the cover, and the original owner's name is written on the front cover. Measures approx. 9 3/4" x 13". S&H is an additional $6.50 within the continental U.S. International shipping is also available.   The cover of this 1940s "See Saw" coloring book is in color & features a boy & girl on a see-saw with a puppy sitting in the middle. The book itself features many different pictures to color, varying in subject matter & artistic styles. It was published by Paulu Publishing Co., New York City, and is in excellent condition. Knopf Inc. Book is in very good to excellent condition, no writing, tears, or damage. Dust jacket has some wear and small tears at upper and lower edges but has done its job of protecting the book. Email for shipping rates if you live outside the US.  Kansas coloring book - the story told in pictures by the Kansas State Historical society -33 pages of pictures to be colored and history of Kansas  Hardcover book measuring 8" x 10-3/4" containing 214 pages. Published by Silver Burdett Company Copyright 1944. Provides a wide selection of attractive projects that children can make from inexpensive materials with the common hand tools that usually are available. The projects are grouped according to use and child interest, with many opportunities for creative expression. Many appropriate gifts and decorations for holidays and special occasions! Most of these things are made of paper. Lots of illustrations! A fun book! Condition is good although the cover is worn and corners are bent. There is writing in ink on the front inside page reading "To The Smith Children from Mrs. Teachout 1974". Pages are somewhat yellowed but not ripped. L260x6.  On the cover there is a picture of a little girl watering flowers (with a dot to dot watering can) that needs to be joined together! The number 2957 and five cents are in the upper right hand corner. "WHITMAN" is in the lower left hand corner. Inside opening page has Mother Goose with a dot-to-dot hat that needs to be connected. Drawings by Irma Wilde. Also "COPYRIGHT 1964 BY WHITMAN PUBLISHING COMPANY-RACINE-WISCONSIN-PRINTED IN THE U. S. A. BY WESTERN PRINTING AND LITHOGRAPHING COMPANY". Inside there are nursery rhymes with missing names and lots of dot-to-dot items that have to be completed. This little book has never been used-both front and back covers, as well as the inside are in excellent condition! Measures 5" x 7-1/2". Thanks for looking!  1964. Looks like Bozo, The Clown on the cover, has #2957 and 5 cents in the upper right corner. Also, has the name Lynn Kaiser near Bozo's foot. Inside it reads "DRAWINGS BY BONNIE BAUMAN and COPYRIGHT 1964 BY WHITMAN PUBLISHING COMPANY-RACINE- WISCONSIN-PRINTED IN THE U.S.A. BY WESTERN PRINTING AND LITHOGRAPHING COMPANY". Book measures 5" x 7-1/2". Contains pages to color and different problems that involve numbers for a child to solve. Never used and the front and back covers as well as all the inside pages are in excellent condition!
