These two 1920's era brochures have some great vintage recipes from the Betty Crocker Kitchens. The first is 2 Exciting new Ways to Use Bisquick. The second is Foods Men Rave About. Both have some tantalizing recipes.  This neat very old cookbooklet comes from the Royal Baking Powder Company. My first thought when reading the title was how to preserve eggs. Instead, the book offers recipes for lower amounts of eggs needed. There are 55 recipes for baked goods and other items using fewer eggs than the traditional recipes. There are recipes such as Waffles, Doughnuts, and corn meal griddle cakes (very good), that you will want to try.  The new quick method comes from the Northwestern Yeast Company in the form of Foam Yeast. Though I don't believe this type of yeast is still available, the recipes in the brochure could be easily converted to the available types of yeast.  This book from the 1920-30 era is in amazingly good condition. It has 30 pages of recipes using Snow King Dessert Powder. I believe you could substitute something like vanilla pudding or Watkins pudding mixes to make the recipes such as chocolate chiffon pie or Chancellors cake. The book is in excellent condition and measures just 3 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches wide. It comes from the Snow King Baking Powder Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio.
