This neat cookbooklet was put out by Arm and Hammer Baking soda in 1943! This little 15 page cookbooklet has some real gems of recipes. I really enjoyed the pineapple fritters. These are different types of vintage recipes and are just wonderful.  This neat cookbooklet was put out by Campbells Soup in 1956.  This little 23 page cookbooklet has some real gems of recipes. I really enjoyed the easy sauces and dishes that could be made using Campbell's soups. The Swiss Steak with Vegetables was just delicious and so easy!  This neat Food information book was put out in the 1950 era By Metropolitan Life Insurance co. It is in great, clean condition.   This is not a cookbook so much as a primer on cuts of meat and how to eat balanced meals. There are 16 pages.  This neat cookbook was written by Bonnie Yeo in 1989. It is in great, clean condition.   It is a lovely combination of local lore and cooking. There are some recipes for game and also a few for our famous huckleberrys.  There is a section on reading brands and then on cooking the beef from the ranch from whence they came.  There are some great local dishes.

1989 Out Montana Way Cookbook $7.50

This neat recipe folder was put out in the 1940-50 era from United Grocers. It is a flip top type booklet with recipes for all types of dishes. The recipes are exceedingly easy and most look pretty good.  This neat recipe cookbooklet was put out in the 1945 era By General Foods. It is in well loved condition with the cover taped together. But this is with good reason. The recipes are hearty and very tasty.  I tried several with my favorites being the Sour Cream Cookies and the Creamed vegetables on Curry Biscuits. You will find quite a few intriguing ones as well. There are 46 pages.  This great recipe book has some fantastic recipes for everything from Soup to Desserts. It was put out by Knox Gelatine and has a super recipe for a perfection salad that I have served at luncheons before. There are 12 pages of color pictures.  This book is for those of us who believe that if it isn't fried, it isn't worth eating.. There are some sensational recipes for using Golden Dipt breading (still available) on all your favorite foods. The booklet has 30 pages of recipes.

Golden Dipt Breading Recipe Book $7.50

This great recipe book has some fantastic molded salads and desserts using Knox Gelatine. It has many pictures and also contains a leaflet for a recipe for Cutting Butter bills using Knox spread.  The booklet was dated 1938 and has 19 pages.  I loved the part at the back that gives instructions for setting the Gelatine if you don't have automatic refrigeration.  This great recipe book has some interesting recipes for dressing up Lipton dry soups. It isn't dated but I would guess it dates to the 1950-60s. There is one recipe for an oyster chowder that sounds interesting. There is also a section for summer, jellied soups.  The little booklet contains about 15 pages.  This great recipe book has some fantastic recipes for salad dressings using olive oil. It dates to the 1930s I think and has 26 pages of all types of wonderful dressings.  This great recipe book has some fantastic recipes for drinks and other dishes using the liquor, Kahlua. The paperback book has 27 pages and is just chockful with colored pictures. There are some sensational drinks, desserts and even salad and fruit dishes.

This neat old leaflet from Arm and Hammer is in great condition and has some of the best old fashioned cake muffin recipes I have ever seen. On the cover is a sour cream cake to die for. There are pictures of most of the recipes and just 15 pages in the book.   I love my bread machine but I grow tired of the packaged mixes for it. This book is a wonderful change of pace for recipes and other baked goodies from your bread machine. It is a soft cover book with 160 pages of recipes, glazes and flavored butters.  This hardcover spiral bound cookbook was put out by Betty Crocker Kitchens in 1961.  But it is just as practical today as it was then. There are 170 pages with full meals, main courses and even desserts on the grill.  This is a wonderful soft cover cook booklet from TV Guide featuring favorites from TV stars of the late 1950's and 1960's era. There is Mulligan Stew from William Frawley and Meat Pies from Danny Thomas. These dishes are portrayed in full color and my mouth is watering as I write this!

If you are a shrimp lover, than this cookbooklet is for you.  There are only 16 pages but they are chockful of wonderful recipes such as Shrimp Amandine and Shrimp Gumbo from New Orleans. There are some great pictures, too.  This hard cover cookbook contains 184 pages of nourishing and tasty beef recipes from the Cow Belles, a woman's auxillary to the Washington State Cattleman's Association. There is even a section on jerky.  These recipes range from the familiar (Sauerbrauten) to the different (mincemeat cookies). It is a vintage look at beef cookery.  Crepes are a misunderstood dish. They are perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner and this hardcover book details some delectable recipes.  Be sure to try the crepes with sweet and sour meatballs or the lemon crepes for dessert. There are 178 pages of recipes plus techniques for creating fabulous meals.  If you don't have all the Pampered Chef cookbooks, you should. The recipes are sensational and even the pictures make your mouth water. This one has recipes for  Cool Lime Napoleans, Mediterranean Dip and baked pita chips, Asian Style Wontons, and a Cheeseburger Twist that is a great family meal.

2003 Spring / Summer Pampered Chef Cookboo $6.00

This great cookbooklet was put out in 1992 by Bordens to showcase main dish and dessert pies.  If you like pie, this book is sensational. It is a full color picture recipe book with all types of pies. The book contains 89 pages of recipes.  This great cookbooklet was put out in 1952 by Wearever to showcase their cookware to its best advantage. There are 96 pages of great easy to make vintage recipes. There is also a section with cookware sizes and what pan to use with each recipe.  This softcover recipe book was put out by International Bests and contains some sensational recipes for company or home. There are meals like pepper steak from Alan Alda's wife and Spaghetti and Meatballs from Sammy Davis Jr. My favorite might be the Spinach Rockefeller. These are great meals within the 128 pages.  Though the recipes within these 28 pages are to be made with sugar free Jello, they could be made with regular jello as well. They are quick to make and very very tasty.
