The DJ is a bit tatty.  This is one of my favourite cookbooks and one that is never loaned out - even to friends! The recipe on page 179 for a Lamb Curry that is to die for! And the fish curry is not bad either. A full gambit of stews from around the world, though it does not have the one for Iguana Stew which was omitted from the book due to the author's lack of experience.


Published by Doubleday, illustrated by Rowland B. Wilson, this is the book club edition, 1969, hard cover, 230 pp. In near mint condition. the DJ is very slightly tatty.  by Florence Brobeck, first edition, 1960, hard cover, published by Doubleday & Co, NY.
