Entertainments for Home,Church and School by Frederica Seeger and edited by Theodore Waters, 5.Business Hints for Men and Women by A.R.Calhoun,and edited by Theodore Waters. They are in very good shape with original binding.(no writing on pages or dogears,or smudges so it seems whoever bought these just wanted people to believe they were a goody-goody OR some housewife liked the way they looked stacked on a side table!). This is an authentic 1908 book which sold for 25 cents to a lady named Edna R. She shows up in a sort of Who's Who of Allentown in 1917 as a new bride of Charles Franklin Seidel, the Superintendent.They had a private library.She wrote her name on the front blank page. Otherwise in very good condition.   <b><font color=red>This is an ORIGINAL, not a reprint or print-on-demand copy!</font></b> Japanese American authors T. Iyenaga. and Kenoske Sato (both from the University of Chicago) wrote this early scholarly study on Japanese immigration to the United States. It was published in 1921 by Putham's Sons. Chapters cover Japanese traits and philosophy of life, Japan's Asiatic policy (Korea, China), Background of Japanese immigration, Attempts at emigration (to U.S. Australia, Canada, South America), Causes of anti-Japanese agitation, Facts about Japanese in California (populartion, birth rate, farmers, alien land laws), and Assimilation and nationalism. Thirteen appendices provide other information. The book is ex lib, with the usual library markings, but remains in Very Good condition. There is very slight age-yellowing of inside pages. The covers show minor edge/corner wear and the front hinge is loose. Still, all pages remain tightly bound.

This is a brand new, never been opened, still shrink-wrapped edition of Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: An Art in Its Making, hard cover book with dust jacket. This is the first edition first printing of the book. ISBN: 0786861444. This is not the miniature, this is the full-size book. Since we haven't taken the wrapping off the only photos we have available are of the front and back covers and the only information about the book we obtained from researching the ISBN number. It was apparently published in 1994 to coincide with the release of Disney's first animated home video of Snow White. The book contains 192 pages including full color and black-and-white photographs. It also includes an explanation of the animation process and I've read some rave reviews on it. I wish I could peek inside but don't want to destroy the collector value by opening it up. This book would be a great addition to any Disney or Snow White collector's library.  This is a gently used condition 98 page Rolling Stone Magazine May 26, 2011 edition featuring Bob Dylan on the cover.
