 A great booklet to take along if you plan to visit The French Quarter in New Orleans. It has a block by block diagram with landmarks noted and described. Features very nice color photos of: Interior of St. Louis Cathedral, Pirate's Alley, French Market, Courtyard and Prison Rooms in the Cabildo, Old Absinthe House and much more. Distributed by A. Herschwitz, New Orleans, LA.  This is a new trade paperback from Aardman Animation called Wallace and Gromit Cheese Lover's Yearbook published in 1997 by Andrews McMeel Publishing. The book has a format like a monthly and weekly appointment calendar with notes, post its, annotations and comments by the 2 cartoon characters. The entries are really funny and refer to their movies like A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers, etc. Very fun and typically British.

Book Wallace And Gromit Cheese Lover's Y $14.00

Offering this book titled Gardens of the Caribbees; sketches of a cruise to the West Indies and the Spanish Main by Ida M H Starr; this is volume 1 of a two volume set - published by L C Page & Co, Boston, 1903.  Cloth hardboards at one time were a green color but have faded to a soft light brownish gold.  Gold gilt lettering on front board.  Other than fading, boards are very good, no spine cracks or fraying.  Hinges are secure.  Pages are rag edge cut; clean, no tears or stains.  Book measures 7 x 4 3/4 inches.  Full page black & white photos throughout.  A great armchair traveling book!  Media mail shipping to continental US addresses will be $3.00  1970s NASA John F. Kennedy Space Center tour guide. It measures 9.25 by 8 inches. It is in good condition except for some defacing on the front color cover. 07mus104  This HARD COVER BOOK is called DEATH ON HORSEBACK: SEVENTY YEARS OF WAR FOR THE AMERICAN WEST.  It is a book about the forceful history of frontier struggles in the Great Southwest between 1836 and 1886; the American Indians and the white man.


The book contains real photo prints from the period.


It is a HARD COVER BOOK.

The cover is in ORANGE CLOTH and has THE TITLE PRINTED on the front.


The CONDITION is VERY GOOD. The HARD COVER is slightly faded and/or a bit dusty. It shows light wear has some useage marks. The spine is tight. The PAGES of the BOOK show some discoloration and light useage.  There is some crimping in the binding on the bottom as if the book had been dropped.


The DUST COVER is RUST COLORED with men on horseback doing battle.  The condition of the DUST COVER is worn/dirty and has some tears/pieces missing.  This is a wonderful book dating to the 1920s called Dear Old London published by the Homeland Association,Ltd. London WC2. The book is a heavy paper binding and measures 10 inches high by 7.5 inches wide when closed. It cost 1 shilling when new. The vintage book or booklet consist of 52 pages of black & white photos of the sights of London--some destroyed in WWII. The cover has slightly dog eared corners, the staples have added a bit of rust dust to the center and there is a tiny bit of foxing on the first page, but the book is really in very good condition. Wonderful to look at as an historical record.

A good addition to your library!  Offering this book titled " Little Journeys in Old New England, by Mary Caroline Crawford, published by the L. C. Page Company, Boston, 1906, fifth impression. Blue cloth hardboards with gold lettering on front and spine. Good condition, light wear and age darkening, clear tape over spine. Pages are clean and tight, no scribbles or tears, one page had a corner turned down. This is an ex-library book so retains the library seal first page of forward and original card envelope on back inside cover. Total of 390 pages filled in information and photos on New England famous houses and estates. A very informative book for your library!
