This set of 2 etched crystal Irish Coffee mugs are marked: L ot V. Beautifully done in a Shamrock & Harp pattern. Long ago, when Ireland was a land of the Druids, a Christian bishop known to us now as St. Patrick, came to teach the word of God. Although the origins of the shamrock are lost in antiquity, legend suggest that St. Patrick plucked a shamrock from Irish soil to demonstrate the meaning of the Trinity- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The plant was reputed to have mystic powers in that its petals will stand upright to warn of a approaching storm. The shamrock remains Ireland's most famous symbol. The shamrock is also commonly associated with the symbol of luck. In studying Celtic history, scholars have discovered that the shamrock was a charm to ward away evil. Based on the ancient lyre, the Irish harp is one of the world's oldest instruments. The ancient Irish kings employed harpist to entertain them. At one sad point in Irish history conquering invaders made it illegal to posses an Irish harp and set out to burn every harp in Ireland in an attempt to kill the Irish spirit. Greatly honored, the harp is the national emblem of Ireland. In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites they measure 5 5/8 inches tall, 2 7/8 inches across the rim and 2 3/4 inches across the base. The glass portion is clear with recipes that include; Manhattan, Bacardi, Alexander, Whiskey Sour, Martini, Daiquiri, Bronx and Side Car on white rectangles. In very good condition without chips, cracks or fleabites it does have a rub mark in the glass near the bottom, a scratch across the bottom and 2 pitted marks inside the cap all of which I have shown in my pictures and it measures 9 3/4 inches high, with the lid on, 3 3/4 inches across the rim and 2 3/8 inches across the base. Anniversary and is marked: Brau-Erfahrung 200 jahriger Familientradition. Dinkelacker is a brand of German beer that is brewed in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg. The Dinkelacker brewery was founded by Carl Dinkelacker in Stuttgart's Tübinger Straße in 1888. The company still brews at that location. By the end of the 19th century Dinkelacker was the largest brewery in Stuttgart. In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 5 1/8 inches tall, 3 1/8 inches across the rim and 3 5/8 inches across the base. The glass is without any damage issues and the Schlitz logo and advertising slogan have no print loss. A terrific vintage addition to a barware collection!  1928 Dated, Alcohol Prescription Form from the NATIONAL PROHIBITION ACT, filled out and completed.A very scarce Federal Treasury Department, Internal Revenue prescription form for a carefully controlled substance during the 1920s and 1930s - ALCOHOL! Note the use of Opium Poppies as the federal government's choice of decoration of the top border of a form regulating another type of drug! An interesting relic from a unique era in our history. This is a prescription for ''Spirits Frumenti'', whiskey! This document is printed in black and red was issued under the authority of the NATIONAL PROHIBITION ACT and was Blank No. 79 in Joseph V Maucher, MD's prescription book.This prescription was written on March 25, 1928, for U Murfey and cancelled on March 25, 1928, in Carrolltown, PA. Printed on fancy, beautiful paper that was also used for U.S. currency. When you hold this prescription up to the light PROHIBITION is a watermarked design throughout. A fine piece of American history, great gift idea for Medical field employee, bartender, alcoholic, policeman, lawyer, priest, or escaped convict!!  This is a vintage aluminum tray with lucite handles. The beautiful lithograph is of an oil painting called COMPANY FOR SUPPER done in 1949 by the artist Dale William Nichols who died in 1995. Signed. He was well known for early farm landscape scenes in Nebraska. Condition is very good except for a few light scratches.

Vintage etched 3 1/4" tall, set of 2, very nice.  promotion gift from the makers of Amaretto DiSaronno, embossed with DiSaronno on all sides of the base, 2" x 4" tall, square in shape very good condition.  Set of 4, 5" tall, clear black & gold, pictures of transportation.  A vintage glass cocktail shaker with a chrome top, decorated with red lines top and bottom and has a carriage pulled by horses on the front and back, with two coachmen riding and driving the coach. Size: 10-1/2 inches height to top of lid, 8-1/8 inches height to rim, 3-1/2 inches across rim, 2-3/4 inches across rim. Condition: no chips or cracks, heavy-weight glass, decals are good, red color not faded, air bubbles in glass, normal manufacturing marks within the glass. Comments: lid has a screw off cap with a built in screen. No maker marks found, I’d guess Anchor Hocking to be the maker.

"Give Every Man his Dew". Stoneware bottle with stopper - Uisage Baugh, a blend of rare old Irish Whiskey. Shipped and bottled by Tullamore Dew Company, Dublin, Ireland. The stopper has a chip, otherwise excellent condition. Empty of course. Measures 21.5 cm high and 12.5 cm wide (8.1/2 inches by 5 inches). Late 20th century. Please email us using the link on this page to obtain a postage quote before ordering.  Light filtering through the clear glass with its vibrant, colorful horse and flower decoration gives a window pane or stained glass appearance to this 9 inch tall BMF tankard/stein. A sturdy pewter thumb hold and lid is attached to the 4 inch long solid glass handle. The stein was manufactured prior to 1990 when East and West Germany were re-united, and it is possible that the time frame is as early as the 1950’s for this piece. The flaring paneled bottom does suggest older glass manufacture. We do know that the stein is in very fine vintage condition, without any cracks, chips, or damage to the pewter.  This limited edition Anheuser Busch Budweiser stein is dated 2002 and marked on the bottom: Handcrafted Expressly for Anheuser-Busch, Inc. by Ceramarte of Brazil / CS529 / Guiding The Way Home / 2002 Budweiser Holiday Stein / 2001 Anheuser-Busch, Inc., St.Louis, Mo. The Bavarian Brewery of Eberhard Anheuser was only one of 50 breweries in St. Louis in 1870. Anheuser, a soap manufacturer, had taken over an insolvent business in 1860 and turned it around. But it was his son-in-law, Adolphus, who would spearhead the company’s global expansion and become St. Louis’s merchant prince of beer. Anheuser-Busch never lost focus on its flagship brand, and from 1957 on would sell more beer than any other brewer in the world. A beautiful scene of the world famous Clydesdales hitched to the red Budweiser Wagon in rich colors of red, browns, blue, white on a cream background showing them passing a large Lighthouse and having a figural lighthouse handle. In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 7 inches tall, 3 inches across the rim and 3 1/2 inches across the base. This Moosehead Canadian Lager stein holds measures 5 1/4 inches in height, 3 3/8 inches in diameter across the rim and is designed to hold 12 ounces of beer. Made by Schmidt of Brazil, the front features the classic moose design done in green with the wording Brewed and Bottled by Moosehead Brewery Limited, Canada's Oldest Independent Brewer, Saint John, New Brunswick and Dartmouth Nova Scotia. Stein is in excellent condition with no wear to the design and is free of any chips, cracks or flakes. This is a heavy piece, weighing nearly 2 pounds before packaging.  This is a well-done Commemorative bottle to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the American Legion. The cobalt blue bottle stands 10 1/2 inches tall to the top of the round glass stopper and measures 4 3/4 inches across. The front graphic features both a World War I Doughboy to represent the Legion’s founding date of 1919 contrasted with a modern day 1969 soldier in uniform. On the backside is a raised American Eagle design. The round glass stopper has a cork attached which sealed the bottle’s contents of 4/5 quart Scotch Whiskey, now empty. The J.W. Dant information can be found on the side label of this fine vintage condition cobalt blue American Legion commemorative.  Ducks in flight over cattails. 1950 - 60s era embossed "Ducks in Flight" beer / beverage pitcher. 10" tall. The Holy Week Celebrations throughout Spain include processions with these hooded characters. I have No Idea which town or area this 1 comes from. If you know, please let me know... Holy Week in Spain From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Spain is especially renowned for its Holy Week traditions or Semana Santa. Holy Week, the last week of Lent, which is the week immediately before Easter, sees its most glamorous celebrations in the region of Andalusia, particularly in Seville, while those of Castile see the more sombre and solemn events, typified by Semana Santa at Zamora.This is a religious holiday. A common feature in Spain is the almost general usage of the nazareno or penitential robe for some of the participants in the processions. This garment consists in a tunic, a hood with conical tip (capirote) used to conceal the face of the wearer, and sometimes a cloak. The exact colors and forms of these robes depend on the particular procession. The robes were widely used in the medieval period for penitents, who could demonstrate their penance while still masking their identity. These nazarenos carry processional candles or rough-hewn wooden crosses, may walk the city streets barefoot, and, in some places may carry shackles and chains on their feet as penance. In some areas, sections of the participants wear dress freely inspired by the uniforms of the Roman Legion. This is a quality crafted 2 3/4 inch tall whiskey/shot glass with colorful graphics of Rudesheim, a wine making town known also for Drosselgasse, an area of cobble stone lined streets, quaint shops and historic buildings. The whiskey glass has a 2 inch opening across the top and is decorated with a gold band on the rim. There are no damage issues on this vintage shot glass but we do make note of a slightly raised area on the rim which occurred during the manufacturing process.  Standing 11 1/2 inches tall on a 4 inch base, the bearded Moonshine Man is sitting on a barrel, shotgun in hand. The 1969 decanter, now empty, once held 4/5 ths Quart of Bourbon Whiskey distilled by Stitzel & Weller, of Louisville, Kentucky. The Mountain Moonshine Man decanter was part of the Collector’s Gallery of classic Hillbilly figures created before the distillery was sold in 1972, and it is in very fine vintage condition without any cracks, chips, or flakes. The whiskey stamp is intact on the back side and the base is stamped with the Stitzel & Weller name. A fun and well-crafted Americana collectible.  Please Choose First Class Postage for this item. This 2 1/2 inch tall hat shaped glass jigger is in excellent, virtually unused condition. It advertises Canadian Club Liquor. This set of 8 colored etched glass liquor glasses in a metal carousel holder have no makers mark. Beautifully done with 3 dots etched then leaves around each glass, in solid colors, in sets of 2 each, blue, green, pink and gold with a metal carousel holder. In very good condition without chips, cracks or fleabites the holder measures 5 3/4 inches tall and 6 1/8 inches wide while the glasses measure 2 inches tall, 1 3/4 inches wide with a 1 inch base. If you have questions please contact me and thank you for looking.  Adorable Pair of Porcelain Googly Eyed Boy Figural Nip cups that was produced by Schafer & Vater of Germany. This hand painted pair is from a decanter set that was sold by Schafer and Vater of Germany circa early 1900s. They are approximately 2.00 inches tall and the base is approximately 1.25 inches in diameter and in very good condition with no nicks, chips, cracks or crazing. These boys are very animated with their eyes, and face. The bottom is stamped Germany in Red on the bottom and on the back of these the numbers are embossed 6040 as shown in the pictures.  A set of 6 cordial or liqueur glasses in emerald green with gold filigree and trim and hand enameled flowers. Made either in Czechoslovakia or Italy. Both countries made this design. All six cordials are in excellent condition. 2.5" high and 2" across at the mouth.  This is a glowing cranberry red decanter, 11" tall and in excellent condition. It is blown glass and has a hollow blown glass stopper with cork base. The etch is a floral and leaf pattern. In excellent condition.

An Italian blown glass decanter with ground stopper in pale blue with silver deposit or overlay. The decanter has a scene depicting Venice, Italy on one side. The other side of the decanter shows an 18th century couple apparently in a Venetian palace. The scenes are done in silver overlay or silver deposit. The blue decanter was probably a souvenir of the late 19th, early 20th century of someone's tour of Venice,Italy.In excellent condition. 9" tall  The six vintage shot/whiskey glasses with gold rims measure 2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches across the top. In the set are two glasses featuring the town of Koblenz, and one with a crest and crown design reading Bundesrepublik, Deutschland, rather than a city. There are no cracks, chips or nicks. 1) Bacharach – located in Rhine Gorge – Cathedral scene & Crest 2) St. Goar – located in Rhine Gorge – Town scene & Crest 3) Bingen – original name, Bingium, a Celtic word meaning hole in the rock, the Bingen Loch. Castle scene, which is now a Youth Hostel, and no Crest design. 4) Bundesrepublik, Deutschland – generally known as West Germany in English – the Cold War era term for the Federal Republic of Germany between the years 1968 and 1990. 5) Koblenz (2) – a 2000 year old town, surrounded by 4 low mountains. Horse statue.  This lidded stein measures about 9 inches high. The bottom is marked Avon, Handcrafted in Brazil exclusively for Avon Products Inc, 1978 and numbered 982005. The bottom also offers the original foil label marked Ceramarte Made in Brazil. The raised pattern ornate stein offers a detailed scene of a fisherman catching a trout on one side and a hunter with his trusty English Setter on the other side. Minor wear. No chips or cracks. This limited edition stein is in Fine condition.  Gerz German Beer Stein (Toby jug) measures about 9 inches tall . It has a cobalt blue interior and nice brown salt glaze exterior. The printing on the tummy says "Reiner wein und gutes bier sind des wirtes schonfte zier" which translates to Pure wine and Good beer are the owners best attributes"". The condition is excellent. These were made around the early 1960's, usually painted and with a salt glaze. There are no marking on the bottom. Gerz went bankrupt in the 1990's and was bought by the DOMEX Geschenk-Manufaktur, who owns the Gerz label rights

This wonderful condition stein measures 4 3/4 inches tall and is 3 1/8 inches in diameter across the top. Stein, which is constructed of stoneware pottery, features the Lowenbrau name and trademark in blue on the front, along with a red banner that indicates this item was made for the World's Fair held in New York during the years 1964-1965. Bottom of stein has Made in Germany in black lettering within a circle and the number 20 impressed into the base. Also appearing in blue lettering on the bottom is M 20 X 97. Impressed into the side is 0.5L. Stein is in great condition for its vintage age with no damage issues or loss to the design.  This piece was made by Regal China as a commemorative for the 16th annual Jim Beam Convention held in Boston, MA in 1986. Pot stands 5 inches tall and is 3 inches across the felt-covered bottom, and 5 inches wide from handle to handle. No chips, cracks or flakes. Great conversation, or desk piece.  Heavy crystal old fashion cut crystal glasses set of 6. These old fashion cocktail glasses have a fan and crisscross pattern. 4" tall and in excellent condition.  HEAVENLY LAKE TAHOE SOUVENIR SHOT GLASS. FROSTED GREEN. 2 1/2in TALL. EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Size: 3 inches length, 2-5/8 inches width, and works as intended. EXCELLENT CONDITION.  This wonderful souvenir stoneware beer mug advertising Zum Stammtisch German-Bavarian Restaurant in Glendale, New York is marked: Zum Stammtisch. Zum Stammtisch was founded in November 1972 by John Lehner and two other partners. Before immigrating to the United States in the 1950's John was a coppersmith in Freising, Bavaria, Germany. His father had a small bar/restaurant in town and it was always John's dream to open his own German bar/restaurant. In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 5 1/4 inches tall, 3 1/8 inches across the rim and 4 inches across the base. Cup measures 92 mm high and 83 mm diameter (3.5/8 inches by 3.1/4 inches).
