Years Mfg.;ca.1940's Reads on back; Blue Ridge China Hand Painted Underglaze Southern Potteries Made In U.S.A  This covered sugar bowl stands 3.5 in. tall and measures 6 in. diameter including the handles. Produced by the Blue Ridge Southern Potteries in the '50's-'60's era it is unmarked. No damage.  A sauce dish or berry bowl that measures 5.25 in. diameter and is 1 in. tall. Produced by the Blue Ridge, Southern Potteries. Unmarked. The pattern is called green briar. No nicks, chips, cracks, etc.  A coffee cup in the Green Briar pattern produced by Blue Ridge, Southern Potteries. I believe in the '50's. Stands 2.25 in. tall and measures 3.75 in. diam. at the top. No damage.

A handpainted plate from the Blue Ridge Southern Potteries. Measures 9.25 in. diameter. In very good, undamaged condition.  Great addition to your china pattern.  Blue Ridge Southern Potteries saucer in their colorful, Fairmede Fruit pattern. This fruit pattern features a center design of purple grapes, a yellow apple, red plum and green leaves, and has a border of four rings in a rainbow of colors. Made in USA. Saucer is unmarked. Quantity available: 3. Circa: 1930-1950's. Size: 5 7/8 inches. Condition: Very good. All saucers have glaze crazing. One with a manufacturer's glaze pop; one with two small nicks on the underside edge of rim.  These are 9 3/8 inch luncheon plates made by the Blue Ridge Pottery Co. The pattern name is Strawberry Sundae and the shape is Skyline. It is hand painted. No chips or cracks.

Blue Ridge Pottery Lunch Plate Strawberr $18.00
This is a 9 3/8 inch luncheon plate made by the Blue Ridge Pottery Co. The pattern name is Apple Trio and the shape is Colonial. It is hand painted. Has a small area of imperfection which is under the glaze. Please see photos. No chips or cracks.  Beginning in 1938, most patterns were hand painted on the bisque prior to glazing. Trained to produce the brush strokes and techniques, local women and some men fashioned the leaves, stems, flowers, scenes and animals commonly seen in Blue Ridge patterns. The production ended in 1957. No chips, cracks or crazing are noted.  Skyline coupe shape dinner plate, hand-painted with large blue flower. Unmarked, but believe this was made by Blue Ridge due to the size.  This underplate measures 11.5 x 9.5 in. It is unmarked, but I believe it is from the Southern Potteries, Blue Ridge. No damage. It has a green feathered edge. I do not know the name of the pattern. Would also make a great platter.

This plate is in the Stanhome Ivy pattern. Backstamped Southern Potteries, Inc. Blue Ridge Handpainted. I believe from the early '60's era. Measures 9.5 in. diameter. In very good, usable, displayable condition. 6 for sale. Priced each.  French Peasant pattern was hand painted on the bisque before glazing beginning in 1938. For the most part, painters freehanded the details. Obviously some differences make Blue Ridge truly distinctive; in fact, each piece is an original work of art. The leaf on the palte is rose color, which we recognize as the color of the rhododendrons of the mountains of East Tennessee, are more often found in the southern United States. No chips or cracks are noted.  French Peasant pattern was hand painted on the bisque before glazing beginning in 1938. For the most part, painters freehanded the details. Obviously some differences make Blue Ridge truly distinctive; in fact, each piece is an original work of art. The leaf on these plates is persimmon color most often found in the eastern United States. The plate is 9 inchs wide. The bowl is 5 1/4 inch diameter and id 1 inch tall. No chips or cracks are noted. Receive a 20 percent discount if you purchase all three bowls.  Blue Ridge China 'Chintz' coffee pot having hand painted flowers in red, yellow and blue. Porcelain coffee pot has a ribbed spout, and scroll handle with raised designs. Made in USA. Circa: 1930's. Size: 7 1/4 inches tall. Condition: Missing its lid; minor staining along the rim and upper portion of interior.  3 Blue Ridge hand painted plates, Made In USA by Southern Potteries Inc. Each measures approximately 9.5 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or heavy gouges. There is no evidence of highly visible scratches either. 11pdp216  Skyline shape 'Signals' dinner plate, with hand-painted aqua and black geometric design. A few areas of light staining on the edge of the rim, otherwise in good condition with light wear.

I haven't seen Crab Apple painted on this blank before. Maybe a special order? This is the Double Dutch pattern, cake plate, by Blue Ridge Southern Potteries. There is glaze crazing front and back.  This is the Country Fair plate, promoted by Avon, in the Pomegranate and Cherries pattern. It is an 8" plate in the Colonial blank. There is glaze crazing on this plate, front and back, typical of Blue Ridge.  This is the Country Fair, Pears and Cherries pattern, promoted by Avon and produced by Blue Ridge Southern Potteries. This is an 8" plate, Candlewick blank and does have glaze crazing front and back, with more 'dirt' under the glaze on this one in particular.

This piece has little to no glaze crazing.  This is a 6" saucer in the Fairy Bells pattern by Blue Ridge Southern Potteries. There is a smudge of green paint on the front which is under the glaze. There is little to no glaze crazing on this piece.  This is a Cock 'O Walk 9" vegetable bowl by Blue Ridge Southern Potteries. There is little to no glaze crazing on this adorable bowl.  This is a Chintz pattern, Deep Shell Bon-bon by Blue Ridge Southern Potteries. This piece has little to no glaze crazing and is really beautiful.
