Vintage Hawaii Barkcloth Shirt with Mod Abstract Geometric Design of Retro Tiki Tapa cloth colors. It is made by Tia of Hawaii. There is no size indicated but I think it's a large. Check the measurement below, There are shade of browns, mustard greenish yellow and orange and white. It sounds ugly but it sure goes together well. Beside this is an authentic product of the early 70's when the earthy tones were the rage. It is 100% cotton barkcloth. It is the perfect thing for hot weather. It has a patch beast pocket. The buttons are brass stamped with a petroglyph design. 46" Bust 26 ¾" Length Check out the rest of my Hawaiian Shirt collection.   Authentic 60's or 70's Vintage Hawaiian Barkcloth Shirt. The print is a tiki style depicting giant cresting surfing waves. ( at first I thought the design was shark fins but after thinking about a bit I came to conclusion that the curl is all wrong for a shark fin). In any event shark fin or big surf was it is still a cool shirt. The maker is JP Jandy Place collection Bardon Inc. The says is marked a large 16-16 1/2. Here are the measurements: 45".....Chest Bust 25".....lengh 18 3/4" .....Shoulder across the top of back. The condition is very good. Enjoy! The size is estimated at a mens' medium. Original Vintage Kamehameha Hawaiian Shirt with a Rare Splashy Psychedelic Mod Rayon Print. ( There is no fabric content tag.) The striking color array consists of chartreuse, yellow, orange, dark beige, with scattered bits of teal and red. There is the main abstract pattern with what I call a ghost pattern in the background of lines, squiggles and flowers. This is a man's size large. It has a cut in hidden chest pocket. It has single stitching on the collar and shoulders and yoke. There are reinforced double seams on the sides and sleeves, horizontal button holes and stamped silver metallic buttons. The hems are all single stitched. The fabric is a soft rayon with a smooth finish. The condition is excellent for a shirt that is more than a 1/2 century old. It looks like it brought back from Hawaii and hung in the closet ever since. Here are the basic measurements. EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS TYPICAL OF THE BEST OF THE BEST CLASSIC PERIOD COLLECTIBLE VINTAGE SHIRTS. NICE DEEP POINTED COLLAR WITH INVISIBLE STITCHING AND A SAME FABRIC BUTTON LOOP. A BUTTON UNDER THE COLLAR. HORIZONTALLY SEWN 4 EYED BUTTONS DOWN THE FRONT. TWO BREAST POCKETS. DOUBLE STITCHED SEAMS. ORIGINAL REM-BRINT BRAND TAG INTACT. FULLY WASHABLE SOFT DRAPING RAYON, WHICH FEELS DREAMY NEXT TO THE SKIN. THE SIZE LISTED ON THE LABEL IS 16 - 16 1/2, WHICH IS A LARGE BY MODERN SIZING, BUT THEY CALL IT A MEDIUM LARGE ON THE TAG. I DIDN'T REALIZE THERE WAS SUCH A SIZE DESIGNATION UNTIL I SAW THAT "ML" ON THE LABEL. IT WOULD FIT A MEDIUM OR A LARGE MAN (BUT NOT AN XL.) MEASUREMENTS ARE: SHOULDER SEAM TO SHOULDER SEAM 19 1/4 INCHES, UNDERARM TO UNDERARM SEAM IN BACK 23, LENGTH IN BACK FROM NECKLINE TO HEM 28 INCHES. THE SHIRT IS IN GOOD OVERALL CONDITION, BUT I DO WANT TO MENTION A COUPLE OF THINGS. THERE ARE SOME LIGHT SPOTS ON THE BACK, MOSTLY ON TOP OF THE LEFT SHOULDER AREA, AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS. THESE MAY HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY CARELESS LAUNDERING BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER. IT WAS LIKE THIS WHEN I BOUGHT IT FROM A PRESTIGIOUS VINTAGE SHOP ABOUT 30 YEARS AGO. THEY ARE NOT VERY OBVIOUS BECAUSE OF THE IVORY IN THE OVERALL WILD BUSY PRINT, BUT I DID WANT TO MENTION THIS FOR ACCURACY. WE WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE MUCH MORE FOR A SHIRT THIS RARE IF THE CONDITION WERE MINT. THERE IS ALSO SOME GENERAL OVERALL FADING OF THE FABRIC, SIMPLY DUE TO THE NATURE OF CERTAIN COLORS TO GRADUALLY MELLOW OVER 65 YEARS, BUT AGAIN THIS IS A MINOR CONSIDERATION FOR SUCH A FANTASTIC, ULTRA HIP SHIRT THAT IS STILL VERY COLORFUL. THIS ONE IS UNIQUE AND A KILLER DESIGN! IT IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SHIRTS, AND IT WILL BE YOURS TOO IF YOU ARE THE LUCKY NEW OWNER.  This shirt of polished cotton has horizontal bands of brown, black and white designs. It has a slash pocket on the left. The measurements are: Length; 28inches and Width;46inches. The tag reads; "MALAHINI Hawaii" It is in good vintage condition with no flaws. I beleive that this shirt is a little newer than the others and dates from the 1960's. Of course I do not know for certain but it has a 60's look.  This shirt has to be seen or worn the pictures do not do it justice. It is cotton barkcloth with a batik like geometric pattern in navy blue, turguoise, black & grey. The print with the horizontal bands of color on the sleeves and at the hemline give the shirt a flattering tapered quality and the pattern seems to move on its own. This shirt always make me think of "Don Ho"! The tag reads; "Made in Hawaii, 100% Cotton & L". Because the shirt is vintage and cotton you can not trust the label(large) so the measurements are, Length; 29 inches, width; 46 inches. The shirt is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws. The beach bunnys will be clamoring for your autograph when you wear this one!  Yet another great 1950's Hawaiian shirt in polished cotton with a batik-like print in olive green, blue, black & white. One of the best features of this shirt are the silver-tone buttons with (I assume) Tiki or Hawaiian warriors! The buttons have a side profile of the head with a helmut of leaves. This was possibly a trademark of the designer as there is also a picture of the warrior on the label. It reads; "Hawaiian Casuals by Stan Hicks, MADE IN HONOLULU". The size is not marked so the measurements are,length; 29 inches, width; 44 inches. It is in very good vintage condition with no flaws.

This is another 1950's era Hawaiian shirt of polished cotton with orange (Hibiscus?)and white flowers on an olive green background. There is no size tag listed so the measurements are; length 29 inches, width 42 inches. The tag reads; "Ui Maikai,100% ALL COTTON, MADE IN HAWAII", and washing instructions. The shirt is in very good vintage condtion with no defects. If you check my other listings you can see that this was a popular color combo at the time. It would coordinate with the swimtrunks of item #HSH801 and you'ld have a change of shirt and be ready for a weekend at the beach!  HERE IS A A MOST UNUSUAL DESIGN 1950'S RAYON HAWAIIAN SHIRT. PALM TREES ARE SUPERIMPOSED OVER A PATCHWORK-LIKE GRID IN THIS PRINT OF LIGHT RED, BLACK, AND WHITE OVER STEELY LIGHT BLUE. PEARLY BUTTONS. A WINNER FOR ANY COLLECTION! MEDIUM SIZE. It comes in a great shade of blue with wonderful ocean scenes. It is size medium and in good condition.  Nice older Hawaiian shirt. This great shirt is by Barefoot in the Paradise. This beautiful HAWAIIAN MOTIF silk scarf measures approx. 6 feet long x 7" wide (a small section of the scarf is pictured). It is missing it's original tag, but judging by the style of it's vintage motif, I would date it from the 1950s. The condition of the material is fantastic, with no stains or worn spots. The hem on one side has come unsewn, it measures approx. 14 1/2". It is located halfway down the scarf, and can be easily stitched - when the scarf is tied, it is undetectable. S&H is an additional $4.50 within the continental U.S. International shipping is also available.  A GORGEOUS VINTAGE IOLANI HAWAIIAN SHIRT. This piece of Hawaiiana is in incredible condition, and appears to have been worn very little, if at all. There is no wear, rips, or repairs to this baby, and judging by the tag, looks to be from the 1950s - 60s. Maybe it is older, I am no expert, but it is definitely no newer than the 1960s. There is no size tag, but I would judge it to be a Small to Medium Mens, with the buttons on the right. It measures approximately 27" from the top of shoulder to the bottom of the shirt, and 18 1/2" from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. It has some slight brown spots around the top and back of the collar,(not very noticeable), probably from hanging in the closet for years, as opposed to "ring around the collar" wear. The shirt is a semi-heavy linen-like material and has lots of body, not silky and drapy. The short sleeves have cuffs, and the shirt also features two flap pockets with buttons, one on each side of the chest. Colors are primarily olive green, with blue, white, black and lime green. Very appealing! S&H is an additional $6.50 within the continental U.S. International shipping is also available.  RAYON Hawaiian Print Shirt Hula Surf Scenes Imagine a beautiful brown and blue with yellow tropical sunset. The palm trees sway, the ocean laps at the shore. Women are Hula dancing, huts are on the beach with women bathing, surfboarders are in the water. Nice isn't it? This also describes this vivid vintage Hawaiian print shirt by UTILITY. Better yet it will stay bright and vivid because it's 100 percent Rayon and just in from the estate. And in great condition! Shirt is a mens size medium and is LONG, about 31 inches. The chest measures 38 inches under armpit. The buttons look like a Bakelite WOOD. Front pocket with slit bottom sides. Great for that Hawaiian collector. It is tagged Utility and was assembled in Dominican Republic but no statement on where the fabric or print was done. 20R  Vintage SURFSIDE SPLENDOR WAIKIKI Hawaiian Shirt Large This is a stunning vintage Surfside Splendor - Waikiki Hawaii (per tag) Hawaiian shirt. It is a beautiful gray color with those beautiful flowers and a darker gray design of pineapples and drinks. It is a Size Large and is 100 percent cotton. It has the left front pocket and white peralized buttons. Has a little lightness at collar inside, but excellent. 20R
