This beautiful tailored woman's, black lined (100% acetate) suit is a top quality classic made by Reflections Spiegel, like new condition. Front: enclosures, 3 gorgious buttons and imitation side pocket. 60% wool, 20% Acrylic, 20% Nylon. Skirt has a kick split. SZ - 8 Measurements: JACKET Bust 35 Length 31 inches Sleeves 24 inches. The jacket features princess seams from shoulder to hem, front and back, which is partially covered by a decorative ribbon embellishment below the waistline. Self belt with matching buttons are a signature detail of this period. The jacket also has an interesting closure at the neck--with large buttons and bound buttonholes, for transforming the neck-line to a close scarf-like fit for cold weather. The long slim-fitting sleeves are punctuated with two smaller, similar but original, buttons. Two tailored pockets can be found on the front of the jacket slightly below waist level. There are deep side vents for ease of movement. The jacket is fully lined with a soft taupe satin. 10 matching carved buttons are found for closure of the jacket, at the front closure, on the belting, and at the scarf detail at the neck. Two smaller buttons are found at the cuff of the sleeves. The ankle-length skirt, with welt pockets at the hipline, has a thick grois-grain ribbon facing with hooks at the waist. Added later were snaps at the skirt closure. The skirt was shortened at a later date and then let out to its full length. No soil line or fading or wear is seen on the hem line. The skirt is unlined and in excellent condition. No spots, stains, holes, fading, or odors. The measurements are: JACKET- Bust:38" Waist:38"" Hips: 39-42" +added fullness from slits Underarm to Hem:29"" Sleeve Length: (Straight Arm)23" SKIRT- Waist:28" Waist to Hem Edge:32" Hips:42" This suit was seldom worn and is in excellent condition.
