 A 1 1/2" diameter bronze medal issued by the Bicentennial Commission to commemorate Adams for his part in the movement that led to the Revolutionary War.


Coin is encased in plastic, with an outer plastic case. Coin is in Uncirculated condition.


Shipping:  $2.43 1st class to US addresses.  Issued by the U.S. Mint starting in 1973.  This medal is the first of a series of 10 issued to commemorate the battles of the American Revolutionary War.


This medal honors George Washington, as a reproduction of the original medal issued to him for the liberation of Boston in 1776. The coin is high-relief and inscribed in Latin.


Uncirculated condition, made of pewter, 1 1/2" diameter.  Original plastic outer case in included, as well as fold-out paper flyer which explains Washington's role in the War for Independence. Flyer has some age yellowing spots on the cover page.


Shipping:  $1.85 1st class to U.S. addresses.   A 1 1/2" diameter bronze medal issued by the Bicentennial Commission to commemorate Paul Revere for his part in the movement that led to the Revolutionary War.


Coin is encased in plastic holder, with an outer plastic case. Excellent condition.


Shipping:  $2.20 1st class to US addresses.  A 1 3/16" high-relief pewter commemorative medal.  Coin commemorates the July 15, 1975 launch of the first international manned space mission.  The Apollo Soyuz test project was the final flight of the Apollo program.


The medals were struck for NASA by the L. G. Balfour Company of Massachusetts.   These medals were made for distribution to NASA and space industry employees that worked on the missions.  The designs were taken from sketches and photographs approved by NASA artist and technicians associated with each mission.  Medals were struck in both sterling silver and pewter for the various Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions.

 

Medal is in mint condition, and it's original plastic case is included.  L.G. Balfour is impressed into the plastic on backside of case. Backside of medal depicts same graphic, with all wording in Russian.
