Very nice signed black pottery vase. Likely Santa Clara pottery; can't really make out the name but maybe you can via the pictures. Looks like Noduda or Ndduda. No chips or cracks. Stands 5.25 tall. Signed Hopi pottery vase. Signed: L.L. with flower symbol. No chips or cracks; some age wear. This item doesn't look new, but does not look antique either. It is 4.5 tall. It looks very similar to a vase done by Sadie Adams on the King Galleries website, but artist on this vase is different. Nice piece for your collection! 10/09estcs  Vintage Southwest style pottery vase. This looks like an older Mexican vase; possibly Native American. It is 10.5 tall; is hand thrown; and is 31 inches around body. One small crackled spot shown in the pic #6. There might be a mark on bottom but it is very worn so not sure. The bottom is rounded so you also get the metal stand with it. The stand is not old, just an estate sale item. Attractive piece of vintage pottery that would work in a SW style room or Mission style. 9/09esa#  Vintage Venezualan covered jar. This item looks fairly old, but is not antique. Inside of lid it has incised mark: Ceramica ... Vibon, Lara, Venezuala. This is an area of Venez. that makes a lot of tourist pottery so previous owner likely vacationed there and purchased this. This is a beautiful Orange Swirl Nemadji Pottery Native American Style Flower Pot. It measures 6 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches tall and has no chips or cracks. Nemadji Pottery was not really made by Indians, but was just a native style pottery. The pottery was actually originally made by a Scandinavian potter from Minnesota in the 1920's. The clay used to make the pottery came from the Nemadji River, those the name. The style of the pottery was Native American  Native American Pot--This small 2 7/8 inches tall x 4 1/4 inches wide--American Indian pot has various brown designs--Shows some fired marks and some chips and roughness to rim  Navajo Pot--Neck has a narrow opening and 2 loop handles, teepee , sunset and trees with a carved design--Noatsilid Pottery means Rainbow signature pottery--6 inches tall x 4 3/4 inches wide and is signed on the bottom

Vase is 6 1/2 inches tall no chips crack or crazing.  Cute  flower pot, has a Indian southwest design, multi color swirl makes this pot some what unusual. At first I thought was molded, but it is artist signed on the inside. The company that sold it added a stamp on the bottom, hard to read but looks like mainly on how to take care of.


Interesting engraving on this pot. 6 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches high. Very pores and actually has some holes in the pottery.

Measures  2 1/2 inches tall and about 2  1/2 inches wide and 2 inches deep.

Arthur Lucario was born in 1942. He is half Acoma and half Laguna.


Arthur specializes in the hand etched ceramic pottery with the red and black etchings. 


He doesn’t use stencils at all. He draws his designs on the greenware and then etches his pottery. His wife, Velma Lucario will often help Arthur with his art.

Vallo, Acoma N.M.—the sticker says Rio Grande Stoneware Albuquerque, NM Made in USA Kokopelli  Mudman Figural Planter or Vase. This is a newer piece from some of the same Chinese centers that created the old-style mudmen from the turn of the century.  This one has a paper label printed Made in China on the bottom. Still this is a very cute reproduction piece. I will be happy to combine shipping and handling for multiple item orders.  Vintage Santa Clara signed black pottery vase. The signature is hard to make out; last 3 letters are either 'ita' or 'uta'. Tenuta? Juanita? Lonuta? Someone that is familiar with this pottery e-mailed to say the name might be 'Ouachita'. No chips or cracks; one clay gouge on bottom, and some age/wear on exterior. Age est: 1930's. 5 inches tall. Geometric pattern, black on black. A nice piece of vintage Native American pottery.
