Sometimes referred to as "Sugar Pie", this doll is from a pair made in 1943. He has a composition head and hands, cloth body, yarn hair and painted features. He stands 15" high. He has light crazing on his face. The body is in good condition. His neck is loose. The hair is full but has some soiling. His pants are a lighter shade than the blue checked shirt and show fading on the legs., tan long socks and brown hi top shoes. The right shoe lace is missing.  1987 Effanbee SUGAR PLUM FAIRY 11 inch Vinyl DOLL #1173 She is so beautiful and part of the Effanbee STORYBOOK DOLLS. She has her original wrist tag which is marked. She is very clean in unplayed with condition. She has on a beautiful dress, flowers in her hair and tights (they are short and we do not know if they are original). She has one ballet shoe that is tied with a ribbon. She stand 11 inches tall with beautiful sleep eyes, rooted hair that has no matting or missing plugs. A great addition to your Storybook collection.  VINTAGE EFFANBEE DOLL GRAND DAME FOUR SEASONS SERIES SUMMER She is the charming SUMMER doll of the FOUR SEASON SERIES number 117 She is 11 1/2 inches tall. Summer has long dark brown hair with a cute widows peak in the front hair line. She has gray sleep eyes and a heart shaped face. Her clothes are original. The dress is long white organdy with 3 rows of gathered lace. Lace is also at the neckline and in a vee shape on the bodice. The long sleeves are also timmed with lace. The dress has a pink ribbon sash. Pink cotton underskirt shimmers through the organdy dress and gives shades of pink appear.The underskirt is also trimmed with lace on the hemline. She is wearing long pink pantaloons. Her shoes are also original white velvet slipper style shoes. She also has a pair of long nylon stockings. She is exactly the doll that you want to cherish and love.  This beautiful Effanbee Doll is from the Age of Elegance Collection from 1983. She was only made for one year. She still has her original $95 price tag from Lazarus Dept Store. She is approximately 19 inches tall and wearing her original clothes. There is a wrap around the box which has one tear in it (hence the face closeup). Otherwise, the wrap has wear, but the doll remains MINT and NEVER REMOVED FROM BOX. She was Made in USA. Although we have not taken her out she has a burgundy velvet dress with lace inserts.
