This figurine of a young girl playing an accordian has a paper label on the base that says Music and is marked on the bottom: Arnart 5th. Ave. / Hand Painted / #2613 and still has the paper label, Made in Japan.

Arnart was founded in 1953 in Japan to produce porcelain art, and had offices on 5th Avenue in New York, the Arnart 5th Ave. mark was introduced 1957.

During the mid 1950's Arnart decided to make their own series of figurines; this decision was based on the popularity of the Hummel figurines produced by the German Goebel company. Arnart employed the designer Erich Stauffer to design these figurines.

In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites she measures 5 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches deep.

An addition to any Arnart Figurine Collection.

SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have any questions please contact me and thank you for looking.  Lovely little porcelain angel with a July foil tag on the sash. The blue flowers she is holding do have some tips chipped. Has been initialed in gold MJB and 1930 placed on the bottom. Stands 4 ½" tall.  This pair of angels are made of a chalkware. They are kneeling for prayer. Their wings and hems have a starched lace added. The lace is trimmed in gold. One has minor cracking starting on the paint. They stand 4 ¼" tall.  Lovely birth angel made by Topline Imports of Japan. She is for the month of January. I believe the 63 is the year. Has the foil tag still on her. She is made of bisque and hand painted. She is holding a bouquet of pink flowers. One wing has been repaired. If you collect these Topline angels I also have an October one.

These two will win you over with their charming look and expressions. The pixie/elf dressed in the pink floppy hat is 4 1/4 inches tall and measures 3 1/4 inches across the base. The pixie lying down with crossed legs and hands to face is 3 1/4 inches tall and measures 5 inches across from tip of boots to end of ear flaps.

Both of these delightful figurines are stamped in black with the crossed arrow trademark, have mold #5615, and have foil Homco labels in place under their base. The two little elves are in excellent condition without any damage issues and are sure to put a smile on your face.  All of these tiny, charming bears measure 2 inches tall and are 1 inch across the base. Holding his basket of rolls and a loaf of bread is the baker. The painter has his chic beret on her head, holding the paint and palette board, and the shoemaker/cobbler has a boot and shoe ready for repair.

These tiny bears, without any damage issues, are all stamped with the crossed arrows trademark of the Homco Company and carry the mold #8820 underneath the base.  This whimsical bone china figurine stands 3 3/4 inches tall on a 2 3/4 inch base and has a diapered baby standing next to an over-sized shoe or slipper. Finely crafted , and styled, this little figurine was created by the Royal Crown Company of North Carolina during their 1930’s – 40’s existence.

Lehrner’s Book of Marks on American Clay, Porcelain and Pottery lists this company as a manufacturer of fine quality bisque and porcelain items during a short life time of production into the forties. The company used the blue crown mark and the Crown Royal name on most of its pieces. Our figurine is in fine vintage condition without any cracks, chips, or nicks.  This delicate porcelain vistorian shoe is artist signed: Tine. This amusing and perhaps slightly shocking 1950s bell figurine is a girl in a cook's or chef hat and dress. She holds an upside down goose in one hand, the other is hidden beneath her apron. With that side-glancing, determined look on her hand painted face, one could only imagine what's in her other hand - a butcher knife maybe?

The bell is about 4-1/2" high. It's in excellent condition with ceramic wired clapper intact, no chips or flakes. The applied pink rose and green leaves on the apron bodice have no damage, the girl's facial features are well painted, and there is little wear to the gold trim. The underside is marked with a black letter N in a circle, which I believe is a 1950s early Norcrest Japan mark.

Charming Homco porcelain two baby bunnies figurine is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. Figurine has the crossed swords stamp on bottom, with the Homco sticker. It measures 3-1/4" tall. Number 1455.

Homco Praying Boy #5211. Measure 4" tall and are stamped 5211 on bottom.

The handsome lad dressed in a blue suit for his First Communion was done by Roman, Inc. in 1985 and carries both a black stamp and foil label under the base.

This would make a special remembrance for a blonde haired boy who celebrated his First Communion Day. The figure stands 6 1/4 inches tall on a 2 1/4 inch oval shaped base and is in fine condition with no damage issues.  Mama Poodle and her two petite pups add up to a delightful vintage set. Done in brown and silver color tones, Mama fits the French Poodle description with that chic beret on her head. She stands 5 inches tall on a 4 3/4 inch wide base and has green gemstone eyes.

Linked to her with silver chain are those two frisky pups, standing 2 inches tall and measuring 2 inches across. Momma and one of her pups have the terra cotta exposed on the bottom of their feet, with no slip or glazing. The other pup has slip over the terra cotta. The three poodles are in fine vintage condition without any cracks, chips, or nicks.

21 x 7 x 11.5" Mollica Brothers Planter, featuring a beautiful girl perched amongst flowers with swans. Exquisite fine detail in the modeling of the figures and the gives them a graceful quality, as do the delicately hand painted features of the faces and the print of the girl's dress. Painterly glazes on the base complement the rosy tones of her skin, hair, and dress.

Signed "Mollica" and "Made in Italy" in the back of the piece.   9x7x25" Beautiful French Country Girl, bending to pick fleurs du temps blossoms. Simple coloration in delicate warm and cool greys highlights the exceptional craftsmanship, especially in the face, hands, and clothing of the figure.

The base is hand-signed in the clay by the artist on the back, and factory stamped "derose" and numbered 1105 on the side, and inscribed, "Fleurs du Temps," on the front.  13x6.5x12" Art Deco Planter or Small Flower Vase, depicting 2 female bathers, seemingly caught in the act. While one bather remains confidently nude, the other covers herself with a towel. Both have beautiful expressive faces, rendered in accurate fine detail.

Signed Ganci on the base on the back. A couple invisible repairs.  This seal figurine measures about 4 inches by 6.5 inches and 3 inches high. Traditional green glazing. No crazing. No chips or cracks. The Blue Mountain Pottery Company was founded in 1947 and closed their doors in 2004, leaving fans to scramble to locate their favorite pieces. The original factory sticker on the back of this seal figure reads Blue Mountain Pottery, Made in Canada. There are two areas of discoloration that each measure about a half-inch square. These are above the left flipper and resemble tape marks, most likely from a previous price tag. Very good condition.

Beautiful classic styling on this ivory color Madonna and Child statuary produced by the A. Santini Studios of Italy. Measuring 6 1/2 inches across the base, and standing 8 inches tall, this Mother and Child sculpture combines both classic and modern elements. The curved sweeping form seems to envelop the Madonna and Child as one, in serenity and love.

The sculpture is composed of a blending of white Carrera marble and Alabaster into a resin-like material. Over time, the white marble develops a soft natural ivory patina. The Santini artisans create museum quality statuary and this example, from the seventies, will continue to grow in collectible value. There are no damage issues on this Madonna and Child and the A. Santini signature is inscribed in back of the Madonna’s gown along with a foil label under the base.  Wearing a tri-cornered hat with a rose decoration, this elegant well-dressed gentleman makes an imposing figurine. Green, pink, and white are the main colors used by the artist for his fancy laced shirt, frock coat, knickers paired with high socks and buckled shoes. Highlighting his clothing is an over-all gold beading treatment, reminiscent of the Japanese moriage treatment.

This dashing figure of a man sits on a 3 1/2 inch wide base with blades of grass beneath his feet. The figure which is in excellent condition is stamped in red under the base with the Orion name, Japan. The Orion Company produced porcelain figurines from 1947 through 1952 and this is a marvelous example of their quality pieces.  Impressed Krukmakaren, Ystad (Sweden) under the base, this 4 1/2 inch tall monk-like figure is all about form and simple coloration. In his mouth is a 2 1/2 inch long rolled copper sheeted trumpet or horn. What is he about to announce or proclaim? He makes for a somewhat mysterious, yet intriguing sculpture piece.

Much of Swedish artwork is noted for its simple, understated forms and this is a marvelous example of Krukmakaren statuary. The town of Ystad, Sweden celebrates the cathedral of St a Maria, which dates back to 1267. To this day, the Tower Watchman blows a trumpet to show the citizens of Ystad that they are being cared for and watched over. This petite figurine is a wonderful folk art piece without any cracks, chips, or crazing.  Whimsical and charming 4 1/2 inch tall clown figurine set on a 3 inch by 4 inch oval wood composition base. That canine friend of his is tugging away at the back of his pants, and it may be a losing battle to keep those pants on.

Bright and colorful with it yellow, orange, and green coloring, the clown has the artist name, Leonardo impressed on the bottom of the statuary. The resin figurine, which is without cracks or chips, also has an Apex foil label in place under the base.
