The Bokara rug style is also known as Saryk Turkmen. The pattern associated with these rugs is comprised of periodic rows of geometric motifs, making up what is sometimes called an elephant track, within a typically red background. Turkish or Persian knots can be used in their construction depending on the quality. Recently woven Bokaras are most often made in Pakistan. This beautiful vintage piece has been professionally packaged and is ready to ship.  I have no year of manufacture on this set but they are like new and very pretty. They were made by Home Interiors and have a paper bottom sticker that states Home Interiors Gifts. They are 7.5 in. high. The pole is ceramic and the top and bottom are a look alike metal but are really hard gold colored plastic.  Set of old curtain rods. These were set in a hinge that could then swing back from the windows. They also pull out for a wider window. The wing like top was once highlighted in gold, it has worn. Some surface rust. They can be repainted easily. Measure 15 ¼" when slid closed.

This is a stunning old corner shelf made of walnut. The sunrise pattern is stained both ebony and walnut in an alternating series. It does show scuff marks and has one side repaired as it had cracked there sometime over it’s life. This is the area the screw had been first placed when built. It is 12 ½" tall with the eye hook by 8 ¾’ wide. Cute old shelf made of pine and done in a walnut finish. Has a framed face and a deep back that could also be sunk into a wall. My Mom called that a "boopka". It is 17" tall by 14" wide with a 2 ½" deep shelf area.  Regency style walnut and burl breakfast table; early 20th century; circular sunburst veneered top with molded edge, on tapering tripartite pedestal and platform raised on paw feet. 30x62 1/2 inches  Louis XV inlaid satinwood and carved giltwood console; crossbanded serpentine top painted with cartouches of urn issuing flowers and musical instruments on conforming base carved as grapevine, embellished with leaves and clusters of grapes.  A neoclassical style bronze and specimen marble center table, the top inlaid with a game board of various exotic specimens, well cast bronze scrolls topped by putti on scrolled legs.

All doors and drawers work fine, and all of the original hardware is on it. It is stained in a dark mahogany. There is plenty of storage space. The beveled mirror is in good shape also, with only the slightest loss of silvering in the upper left-hand corner. Sheraton style inlaid mahogany banquet table; rectangular form with d-ends fitted with two 20 1/2 inch leaves, with double satinwood banding, on pedestals with urn form column issuing 3 beaded legs terminating in paw casters. H 29 3/4 INCHES W48 INCHES L 121 INCHES OPEN  Continental carved oak library table; circa 1900; heavy rectangular top with breadboard ends, on intricately carved skirt with pendent drops and trestle base with crossbar. Would be a great farm type dining table. Some loss of finish on top. Table is very sturdy and quite handsome. H31 inches w 38 1/2 inches L 96 1/2 inches  Hadley worked in Reading, PA on North 9th Street and made custom hand crafted furniture to order for many of the wealthy and important citizens of Berks County, PA. This chest and mirror descended in the family of a Judge named Hess. We acquired it many years ago and now need room. This makers furniture has brought high prices at local auctions. We will offer it at 1/2 of what a similar one sold for in 1999 without mirror. Clifton O. Hadley was the 23rd American to get a pilot's license. He built and flew a plane in 1909, just six years after the Wright brothers' flight. Hadley's plane had no wing flaps. He turned it by bending -- or warping -- the wings as the early Wright flyers did, and in 1909 he flew that plane up the frozen Hudson River to Tarrytown, N.Y. In 1924, Hadley moved to Berks and opened a furniture business on North Ninth Street but continued flying. He became the area's first airmail pilot. He later was the aeronautical adviser to the Reading Municipal Airport Commission and helped lay out the airport. Hadley built many racing and sailing aircraft, as well as a triplane that was later featured by Time-Life books in 1968....
