This is a decorative panel engraved from a piece of oak by the end of the 19th century, centering a heraldic shield flanked by floral pattern. Note minor scratches here and there due to the age. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 8"high/ 38"long.  This frame is in very good condition and quite a lovely vintage frame with its mother of pearl look for that special photo of yours - a 6 X 4 inch opening. The back (see photo) is also in very good condtion. Shipping cost - Flat Rate Piority Box within USA $5.50.  This is a "Catherine" white cased glass purse shaped decorator piece. It is 8 1/2" tall x 5" wide. It is a cased glass in pink & white with a clear bow trim. It is in excellent condition.  This vintage glass-topped tapestry serving tray lived much of its life as a wall hanging in a local Idaho estate. Mounted under glass in a woven brick-pattern gold painted wood frame, the woven tapestry panel depicts Oriental pagodas on rocky shores, flowering and willow trees, and Asian people in boats on the lily-pad strewn water. The fabric is woven with copious amounts of metallic threads which made it very hard to photograph without blinding glare - I finally resorted to taking the pictures filtered at tilted angles which unfortunately hides the gold metallic threads. The tray is large, measuring 17 by 19 inches, if you include the embossed metal carry handles, the length is 21-1/2 inches overall. Several of the small brads at the back are missing, allowing me to see that there are two back coverings: heavy painted gold paper-covered fiberboard below a metal sheet painted flat bright red. The underside of the metal sheet is actually a 1960s newspaper printing plate, obviously attached at a later date. I believe the tapestry tray itself dates to the 1940s if not earlier. Other than the metal backing sheet being partially loose, the tray is in excellent condition.

A set of three 1970s carved cameo wall hangings or plaques, made in England by Peter Bates Miniatures. There are three different exquisitely detailed carved cameos mounted in 3 inch round brass frames under convex or bubble glass. Only one has its original label - the Boy And Girl In Cameo depicting two Fragonard Renaissance style lovers in a garden. Another is a bouquet of flowers, the third is a Grecian style scene of a mother and young child seated at the base of a tree. The carvings are multi-dimensional and nice quality, but I don't know what the carved material is. The frames are backed in gold velvet fabric. All three are in very nice condition. Please pardon the dust and glare in my pictures - the cameos were photographed shortly after removal from the wall of a local estate.  This Federal Americana style early 1970s weather station is mounted on three vertically connected stained wood panels with a cast metal American eagle finial decoration at the top. A different goldtone plastic-cased Springfield weather instrument is centered in each beveled square plaque or panel: a thermometer, a barometer, and a hygrometer (humidity gauge). All three gauges are in working condition and the thermometer is accurate, but I don't have any way to test the accuracy of the other two. There's a small scratch to the stained wood finish on the far left side of the center panel. About 5 inches wide by 20 inches long.  This keychain has an attached rectangular piece of jade approximately 2 in. long and 1 in. wide. One globe with approximately 1 1/2 inch crack at the bottom; see photo 5.  A pair of replacement dishes or "weights" for those decorative Scales of Justice or balance scale tabletop centerpieces that were popular in the 1960s and 1970s. The hanging shallow bowls are heavy crystal with a diamond honeycomb pattern on the outsides, very nice quality. About 5-1/2" diameter by 1-1/4 inches deep, each has 3 brass chains at the rim connected by a hanging loop, extending roughly 9-1/2 inches from the rims to the top of the loops. This late 1940s to early 1950s framed Western cowboy reverse painted silhouette framed picture was a souvenir of Yellowstone National Park. It shows a cowboy on horseback reverse painted on the glass, the color print scene behind the cowboy is scene of Yellowstone Lake with mountain (I believe the Grand Tetons) in the background. The brass-framed picture is a little over 5 by 4 inches. A metal hanger is mounted on the back, on which is printed Haynes Inc., Yellowstone Park Wyoming. Frank J. Haynes was the de facto official photographer of Yellowstone. The Haynes family operated photo shops in the park from 1884 until 1967. The picture is in excellent condition, and appears to have never displayed. It comes in a cardboard box marked Grand Canyon From Artist Point, which does not match the scenic picture behind the cowboy. It's my guess that two silhouette pictures were purchased on a visit to the park, and the original boxes to each were switched.  Please Take 50% Off The Featured Price. Very nice Globe Bookend circa 1950.It was taken care of very well to have lasted this long with no wear and tear. This is an excellent used condition beautiful & collectible 4" X 2" square Jasperware pale blue with white trim signed "Wedgwood England" dresser, trinket, cache box. It is very clean with no damage to the white bas-relief scenes. Inside there are two chips.
